Excellent hotel for a stopover close to the Tunnel

Excellent hotel for an overnight stop very close to the tunnel. Clean, modern, spacious rooms. Dog friendly, excellent breakfast, Very good value. Close by Cite Europe shopping

Close to the channel tunnel.

The staff were all excellent and the food was very nice too! The only problem we had was finding the hotel as some of the instructions were, for us, not clear. Perhaps a few large signs at the roundabouts approaching the area would help? The hotel was full of people when we were there but the staff were still very accommodating, very impressive.

Only the lack of clear signage on the approach to the hotel.

Great location for the Eurotunnel and very good internet. This is our second stay and again the gendarmerie were staying there making you feel extra safe.

Very Clean and Friendly Hotel

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and the food was very good as was the breakfast. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was good. We like this hotel and have stayed a couple of times when we came back from Italy.

A bit expensive when compared to uk side Travelodge at less than £30 with similar facilities. Very few tea/coffee sachets supplied in room. It seems you are encouraged to buy from on-site cafe.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, ideal location minutes from leshuttle

Convenient location just 5 minutes from the Chunnel. Reception : a fully manned reception who gave a warm welcome with a smile, the receptionist was very polite, courteous and obliging. Very welcoming of our dog, charged €6 per night. Large safe grounds, perfect for walking our dog. Room: spacious, pleasing decor, spotlessly clean, open wardrobe with ample hangers, a Security safe, TV with BBC news channels (ch 80), kettle extra baks & 2 x coffee sachets, (1 decaffe). Quiet and lovely and warm. Plenty of room to accommodatey dog and her bed. Large bed with a very comfortable mattress. Ample power points. Slept soundly. Breakfast: a DIY help yourself affair as is the norm these days. Plenty on offer, Hot food available is bacon and a lovely omelette. Croissants, ham, cheese, fruit salad, yogurt etc. friendly & helpful staff. There are 6 Tesla v4 superchargers on site, rate was €0.42 kWh, however there are 4 x destination chargers that were free, so got a full overnight charge gratis, a nice bonus. Large bathroom, large walkin shower, shampoo/body wash dispenser. Fluffy towels. A very pleasant stay at the start of our journey to the Costa del sol, I will definitely use again.

Negatives : Some attention should be paid to the shower tray seal as it is coming away from the wall and there is some mould around the edge. no USB outlets in the bedroom. Breakfast: a DIY help yourself affair as is the norm these days. Plenty on offer, but serial choices limited to muesli

Location. A good example of simple and not expensive but perfect for the purpose. Friendly efficient staff, warm room with everything you need, decent breakfast with good croissants!

Initially from the outside the area looks a bit barren but gendarmerie next door gives great comfort!

The location is excellent when using the Channel Tunnel.

We were really looking forward to our meal at the restaurant but were really disappointed that there was no longer Steak on the menu.

Excellent stay despite the curtains problem.

The welcome at reception was superb The dinner in the restaurant was excellent quality and value. Only one minor downside (see below).

The room was clean and spacious. However, the design of the curtains meant that they couldn't be fully drawn. With very bright lights outside, this meant trying to sleep with a light on in the bedroom. Needs to be improved. 👍

Clean, convenient hotel close to Le Shuttle. And dog friendly!

It was really convenient. Less than 10 mins from the Le Shuttle and also Calais Frethun train station where I was due to catch my train to Paris from. I was able to bring my dog which was great! Plenty of green space outside to walk him after our long drive. The room was clean, plenty of towels and complimentary hot drinks. The TV worked and the bed was very comfortable. Perfect for a one-night stay whilst travelling from the UK before heading onwards. Staff members were also helpful and friendly.

The room would have benefited from a small fridge. Other than that, it was perfect.

The location close to Eurotunnel. Well guarded by the many border guards and gendarmes who use its accommodation too.

Boards at base of shower still detached and shower grouting needs to be renewed - we’ve stayed here a number of times and have reported the problem but it hasn’t been fixed.

Excellent over night stay

The Originals has been extended and we were in a brand new room, Excellent comfort and facilities. Evening meal in the restaurant was very good but needs to be booked. Breakfast not so good, chice of food not as good as it used to be but OK Superb car park and just 10 minutes from the tunnel

An excellent stopover for Le Shuttle travel

We had a very big room, which was very agreeable . Even the view was pleasant and not the car park.

No complaints, although I do wish hotels would give you soap and not these awful soap liquid soap dispensers, which are never quite the right height nor do they always work unless you pump very hard, but it’s the norm sadly.
