Hôtel Le Vivier WISSANT - Vue Mer - Côte d'Opale - Baie de Wissant - 2CAPS

La vue sur la mer et l'étang! La proximité de la plage, des restaurants/bars et du centre-ville. Nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant et le petit-déjeuner mais les plats proposés étaient variés et à un prix correct.

Ascenseur en panne, personnel difficilement joignable (mais efficace et très sympathique quand on réussit à l'avoir !), literie correcte, sans plus.

Apparently I asked for a quiet room, but being next door to the kitchen with a juicer grinding from early in the morning was definitely not quiet. The hotel wasn’t easy to find as we arrived on bicycles in torrential rain & most hotels appeared to be part of the same chain, I headed for the one in the advert then had to cycle back up the road to the actual hotel. We didn’t come into contact with any staff except someone operating the juicer in the morning. Nice breakfast, although we were charged for this after the initial booking without asking for it which was a little sneaky.

The overall appearance of the hotel, outside space especially, could do with a bit of a tidy. Whilst it was comfortable and ok for our overnight stop, it’s not somewhere I’d go out of my way to return to.

Excellent breakfast which we enjoyed on the terrace. The views from our balcony over the sea to the white cliffs of Dover. The lift accessible from ground level to all floors.

It would have been nice to have had a reception area with information about the area, restaurants and places of interest for example.

L’équipement laisse à désirer Les rideaux non obstructifs en cette période où les jours sont les plus longs. La porte de la douche impossible à tenir fermer. L’évacuation toilettes peu efficace. Pas de réception humaine pour l’accueil La porte fenêtre de la terrasse ne ferme pas à clefs serrure HS Pas de télécommande pour la télé donc pas de télé
