French charm and friendliness, beauty, yet convenient.

Location was very convenient to groceries, gas, and casual restaurants yet the property was a green oasis surrounded by trees and in a garden like atmosphere along a stream. Stunning. The room and bathroom were large and bright. The breakfast room and food were the lovely French experienced we hoped for. The hosts were not only special and also the French experience we hoped for BUT WE ABSOLUTELY FELT AS IF WE WERE VISITING FAMILY. We even got a tour of the other house on the grounds which was stunnung.

Lovely B&B

Cute, quiet (except for proximity to the airport) little spot. Breakfast was great. Hosts were lovely and spoke English well. Made friends with a small fluffy orange staff member as well 🐈

Check in process after arrival was a bit unclear but everything ended up working pretty smoothly for us

Wonderful stay in a peaceful retreat not far from Caen centre.

Absolutely amazing experience staying here. The hosts were the kindest people. The grounds were amazing. The suite was large, clean and well kept with many fascinating things inside. The children's room was adjoined to ours with a modern shared bathroom. The estate is beautiful with horses in the Paddocks and a cat who the children loved. The breakfast was outstanding with homemade foods and fruits grown on the grounds. The whole family loved this stay. It is very reasonably priced for the experience you get.

Nothing really. It is a short drive into the centre of town (15 mins) with easily available parking and a range of fabulous restaurants to choose from. You'd need a car.

Good for night overstay

Location good; nice owners of elderly couple, free parking, clean. Premises are old but room is renovated. Breakfast is decent ( croussaints, jam, yougurt, cerals) like anywhere in B&B basis in French style

Bed linen was perfectly clean, white and pleasant. However towels have to be replaced for more fresh. Adfitional shampoo would be nice to have.

A perfect start to our holiday. Beautiful and secluded location on the edge of Caen.

Superb accommodation in a convenient location; hosts were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic - homemade yogurt, Financiers, jams....we were spoilt rotten! Just for awareness, there was a little background traffic noise in the garden but it was nothing that can be heard in the house - it goes with the convenience of the location.

The breakfast was wonderful. The host were most kind. They were helpful with where to go, etc.

Exceptional

Amazing stay! We wanted somewhere near the port to start our family holiday and Le Bas was exceptional. We had the private suite which had a separate room for the kids with loads of toys (our son kept calling it the playroom!). Facilities were great, gardens beautiful and the hosts were super friendly. And the breakfast, wow! Highly recommend.

Hosts are incredible and they serve you a true french breakfast. Seems like living for some days in a real french home. The gardens and sorroundings are amazing. From this home you can visit several must-see places by car.

What an absolutely fantastic and unique place with fabulous hosts to meet and greet and so very kind and helpful. The room exceeded expectations and breakfast was divine. Catered for our children and practically everything home made. A real gem.

La struttura è immersa in un parco tenuto benissimo, pieno di fiori e di luce. Camera elegante e ben curata, bagno enorme. La colazione è stata servita con gusto nell’apparecchuatura, tovagliato pregiato e posate d’argento. Prodotti freschi fatti dalla casa. Buonissima

L’arquitectura, l’ambient, la serenitat, l’amabilitat dels propietaris. Molt ben situat (a tocar de l’aeroport de Carpiquet) com a punt de partida per a descobrir totes les platges del Desembarcament

Una notte da "favola"!!

Una notte da "favola"!: villa padronale del 1780 ubicata in mezzo ad un parco di 6ettari. Alberi ad alto fusto,prato verde ,parco lussureggiante. Paesaggio mozzafiato,da fiaba! Gli Host sono stati gentili ed accoglienti; la colazione superba! Tutto, rigorosamente ,"homemade" ed un'attenta cura nell' apparecchiatura della tavola. Top!!!!!

Prima Unterkunft mit tollem Frühstück und sehr netten Vermietern

Wir haben das Hotel für einen Zwischenstopp für eine Nacht genutzt und waren überwältigt von dem schönen Ambiente. Das Hotel wird privat von einem sehr netten Pärchen betrieben. In das Anwesen wird ihre ganze Liebe und Kraft gesteckt. Am Morgen erwartete uns ein reich gedeckter Tisch in ihrem Wohnzimmer. Neben hausgemachten Gebäck, Marmeladen und Joghurt bekamen wir wunderbares frisches Baguette und besten Kaffee und Tee. Durch den dichten Baumbewuchs um das Gelände stört die nahegelegene Fernstraße nicht den nächtlichen Erholungsschlaf. Tolles Wetter wurde am 30. Mai kostenlos bereitgestellt. ;-) Vielen Dank

Prachtige locatie op oud landgoed met een stijlvolle inrichting. Alles tot in de puntjes verzorgt.

De locatie was prachtig. Gelegen langs drukke weg maar daar heb je geen last van. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en voorzien van eigen gemaakte producten. De gastvrouw en gastheer hebben ons verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk gemaakt.

Wij kwamen laat aan. Dan is het wat lastiger te vinden en zou er naar het appartement wat meer verlichting mogen zijn. Maar onze zaklamp werkte ook prima.

De kamer was heel mooi en comfortabel. De netheid van het sanitair. De ontvangst was ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam.

Klein minpuntje. Zowel op de kamer als in de althans voor onze gemeenschappelijke ruimte was er geen tv te bekennen.

Schönes, etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Haus mit bemühten Gastgebern

Gute Anbindung an die Autobahn, sehr freundliche Gastgeber - wir mussten am letzten Morgen zeitig aufbrechen und bekamen am Vorabend ein Frühstückspackage aufs Zimmer

Flughafen in unmittelbarer Nähe, Flugzeuge flogen schon sehr tief über das Grundstück. Der Mistkübel wurde nur auf Bachfrage ausgeleert, ebenso gab es nur auf Nachfrage neue Pflegeprodukte sowie Kaffeekapseln. Für den mangelnden Service fanden wir den Preis überhöht.

-Pozitionarea extraordinară in mijlocul naturii, - atmosfera bogată în istorie - micul dejun sumar, dar de calitate - curtea îngrijită, flori frumoase - prezenta animalelor padurii: caprioare, veverițe etc

-oferirea unor alte conditii față de cele contractate -dotarea insuficientă din băi (cantitate mica de gel de dus, sapun etc) - curătenia din camere precară - absenta căldurii din primele 3 nopti
