Very Good, but not the best - shop around.

Location is great, room so so - bed large but not of very good quality. Service is good. A bit pricey becasue you can get the same class of lodging in the area for 25% less. However, Best Western is a good brand.

A little noisy on the square. Bed not really great. Room a bit cramped, and bathroom just ho hum. Would have been better with a smaller bed, we had a king, and more room in the remaining space, like for a nice table to eat on, work on. There was a table, but just under the TV and cramped.

There was a water leak when we showenes. We were then moved to a very small and not so nice room. We asked to pay for late check-out. No problem, but due to the inconvenience with the room (room change), I would expect to maybe get a refund or the late check-out for free.

A great find

We loved the location in the middle of town, the staff was super friendly and helpful, the rooms and breakfast were all we expected - clean and good. Having the parking literally a few feet away and at a very reasonable price 55 Euros for 4 days with flexibility to come and go as we needed was a life saver. Highly recommend

A very pleasant short stay in a lovely city.

The hotel was in an excellent location right in the centre of all amenities. The room was a good size with a large and very comfortable bed. It had a good-sized bathroom. We were upgraded to a room with a Juliet balcony with a view over the city which was very nice. The lady on reception on our first night was particularly friendly and helpful which was lovely and she also served us in the nice bar area. All the staff was very nice. The breakfast had a good selection - with both hot and cold choices available, plenty of juices, bottled water and teas and coffees.

The bathroom had a bath with a shower over (we personally prefer a walk-in shower). The air conditioning was not working whilst we were there and so we had to leave the window open at night which was quite noisy.

Not Worth It for the Cost!

Great location. Nice breakfast

Not value for cost. Shower was very short much to close from ground and you could not adjust. The air con did not work and I truly wonder how long it had been out due to the age of the signs. There was no fridge at all. A kettle but no milk. There were signs saying see reception if you want anything. They should of been in the room as is standard practice. You even had to ask for a bath slip mat so you didn't slip in the shower. Who would ask for that. We had a deluxe room to would hate to see the standard.

Loved the location- reception staff are lovely and helpful. Nice little bar for a quiet drink. Breakfast staff equally lovely and helpful. Breakfast choices were good.

Room was a bit small and basic. It was a bit of a hit or a miss relating to coffees and teas being replenished ( one day we had no cups). But it was clean and quiet.

Lovely 3 nights at the BW

The staff was lovely. The room was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. It was a little warm but they were kind enough to provide us with a fan. We had a nice conversation with the bartender who gave us great recommendations for wine and restaurants. We would stay her again, for sure.

All the creature comforts with Normandy charm

We had a wonderful stay! Everyone at the front desk was friendly and happy to help! The room was very comfortable with amazing water pressure! We we had a lovely balcony overlooking the square. The main bed was bigger than expected and the pull out was perfect for our daughter to comfortable sleep!

The bar/ square outside was a bit noisy, but that’s to be expected in a city.

Lovely Central Hotel in Caen

The location of the hotel was fantastic and so central to the shopping precinct of Caen. We loved having the small balcony to look over the streets and district below. Both the bed and room was large and very comfortable, and the room was quiet from any noise from the restaurant below. We enjoyed all the facilities of the hotel - a good value breakfast and handy room service for dining in. The late check out was great too.

The location was ideal.

My original room was hot and the temperature was not adjustable. I was moved to a much smaller room and it was still warm. I had a hard time sleeping because of the heat.
