Pleasant stay

Staff very helpful and hard working

Hard to find. It took 30 minutes to get to property. I don’t recall seeing pictures of front of property on booking.com, nor that it was in a mall

Comfortable, well located and exceptional service

Great location. Clean, comfortable, spacious room with fantastic shower and bathroom. Aurélie at Reception was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable, and we received lovely service from everybody at the hotel. Thank you!

Fine for an overnight stay before the ferry.

Very central to shops, restaurants and sights, helpful staff, secure underground car park. Reception was staffed 24 hours a day. Easy to pick up food for breakfasts rather than pay the 18 euros for the hotel's breakfast.

The duvetcover on the bed looked clean but the actual duvet could probably have done with a wash as it smelt stale.

Location and the onsite parking was great. Staff were very friendly and had good recommendations

Found it very hard to find the hotel since not familiar with the area and when you could drive in a pedestrian only area.

Great location for shopping.

Arrived early and left my luggage, no offer to get my room ready early as the previous Best Western plus did. I did return early to drop off some shopping and the lady at reception was very accommodating. On my return to check in it was nice to find my bags and shopping had been put in my room. The room had an art deco feel, the bed was massive and comfy. AC and WiFi both worked well. Located very close to the shops and a very pretty park.

Location right in the centre of Caen, staff very welcoming and helpful, clean and comfortable bed. Nice lounge area and bar for relaxation after a day out.

Perfect base to explore Caen

Great location, close to shops, historic sites and restaurants. Bright room with lovely window opening onto square. Really lovely helpful staff.

Happy to Visit Caen but Stay in Bayeaux for more options.

Breakfast buffet was very good with lots of options and quality food. Staff were pleasant. Parking option was nice but limited on number of spaces, so reservation is definitely needed. Front desk staff was lovely, spoke very good English and wanted to make sure you were happy.

Shower. The "wall" for the shower was so short that if you placed shower head in top position, water sprayed out onto room. Need longer wall, curtain - something. If planning trip to Normandy beaches, the majority would have been closer if staying in Bayeaux, unless you only want to see Canadian or British beaches/cemeteries. For bar area, carry some type of snacks to go with alcohol sold onsite. Location wasn't near walking area to local shops, etc., so we definitely needed a car!

The location is great for getting out into Caen and close to the citadel and all the sights. good for a solo traveller like myself. Staff were nice.

The bathroom and shower. No nice coffee, and the bed wasn’t that comfortable. Rather basic and small.

Airco needs to be able to switch on when windows cannot be opened. Finding the parking of the hotel is a bit of a challenge

The staff was amazing!! We booked last minute when we unexpectedly had to stay over in Caen. I've never been greeted as warmly and offered so much assistance.
