Cozy and well-appointed Highlands Cottage, perfect for a family holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay - it was ideal for our hillwalking weekend.
The location is ideal for Killin, or going further round the loch, and is easy to find off the main road. The lodge is ideal for a group or family, and there is outside space for eating/drinking too. We had an issue with the dishwasher on our first day, and it was sorted out immediately. Good instructions for entry, our stay, and departure.
The WiFi is a bit weak, but to be expected in that area. Not an issue for us but could be if anyone needed to work from the lodge.

lodge was ideal for our large family group, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for everywhere we wanted to visit and Killin itself is stunning.

Lovely place for a fun short family trip.
It was in a great location, right on Loch Tay… Everything was within half an hour. great for paddle boarding, kayaking, boat trips, with some lovely sights and places to go, things to do.
The beds (mattresses and pillows) were quite hard, and the WiFi was very slow, however the phone signal is excellent so it was quite easy to hotspot anything that needed internet.

A very enjoyable 4 day break
The general location of the lodge is excellent. Nice and handy for Killin and Ben Lawers with plenty of scope for serious hillwalking or simple rambles. We didn't have much contact with the owner/staff but they seemed a pleasant easy going trio.
I personally felt we were in a lodge 'street' which I wasn't keen on. Our 'view' from a very nice balcony area was a row of parked cars and terraced lodges. I would happily pay a little more for a nicer setting. Having said that we were just pleased to have got somewhere at relatively short notice.
