Was a lovely room .. clean and very spacious. The surroundings were lovely, Loved seeing the horses in the field..didn't meet the hosts but it was self check in so we knew that would be the case. Enjoyed our stay.
Lack of soundproofing can be a issue but that is dependant on who the other guests are and whether they are considerate of other people , 1st night was very noisy as the people above us were very loud and kept us up until 1.30 am , the 2nd night was great as the people above us were quieter..so a mixed bag... a shame as it's a lovely place and this is the only downside.

Plenty of parking
No hot water, not that easy to find as it down a dark unlit road at night

We enjoyed our stay at the Barn Lodge and the rooms were comfortable and exceptionally clean. Checkin was easy and communication was excellent. It was a great place to stay and there were places for meals close by. Wish we could have stayed longer! We loved seeing the horses through the window!
Everything was wonderful!

Spacious room, and comfortable bed.
Fantastic location, close to motorway and Stirling town centre, whilst not being noisy from those factors.
Good powerful shower
Not soundproofed. I can hear all conversations,, floorboard squeaks, and sumo wrestling moves of the stomping child upstairs...and every time the main front door to the property is opened or closed, my apartment's front door rattles.
Sink plug doesnt work to either keep water in or to expel it effectively.
