The beach was a 10 minute walk which was perfect for our little ones. The caravan park itself was quiet but friendly and was about a 30 minute drive to dunoon where we were able to do lots of things. It's ideal if you want somewhere quiet to stay but still have the option of travelling to go sightseeing. The caravan was very well kept, it was tidy and clean on arrival and had most things needed for a self catering holiday.

The property was clean and warm when we arrived. It was equipped with everything you could need for a nice holiday.
There were pet hair on the sofas, I had to clean my clothes after sitting there.

No catering was provided
We could've done with a frying pan to cook breakfast. We had to borrow one from another guest.Apart from that we had no complaints

The location is very nice. We loved the peaceful place and we had a BBQ. It was quite relaxing.
Coffee and tea were not available.

Sitting room double doors opens onto large decking with outside table & chairs (BBQ supplied - bring charcoal) with a superb view of the sea just 200m or so to the beach. Caravans are very new, modern & clean. Good size for a family, 3 bedrooms, 1 double with ensuite, 2 small twin rooms & a double sofa bed in sitting room, good powerful shower fed straight from combi boiler, kitchen is fantastic with most/all utensils you need, gas cooker, oven/grill, microwave, kettle & dishwasher (bring your own D/W tablets) Sky TV but only the free channels work (loss of signal in heavy rain) Quiet little site. No one bothered us. Would visit again.
No fault of the site it was fantastic, but as most places in rural Scotland no decent phone signal or data network, WiFi is available at the site office for £5/day or £20/week but we had no need for it as we were away out daily.. The road in & out is a single road with passing places it becomes a pain if you wish to travel daily..

Delighted with our last minute break. Everything clean and comfortable. Van was well equipped. Definitely going back.
You can see the park is getting a paved road laid but this will be a great improvement when it is finished.

The property was spotlessly clean and comfortable
It requires some more people improvement to : Door handle surrounding were constantly coming off, it was massive gap to the terrace double door, kitchen sink was constantly blocking. Road works started just beside caravan and huge noise. That’s why we left early. My vehicle was splashed with concrete from roads works

The location was a great base for sightseeing. We were there for the weekend travelled around Dunoon, round to Inveraray and up to Oban. Lots of nice places to stop off for something to eat and drink. The site was located next Ardentinny beach which was lovely and great for the kids to explore. Accommodation was excellent.
There must have been a lot of rain prior to our arrival as the site was very wet with lots of pot holes. Made it difficult to keep dog and kids feet clean when out. Nothing on the park itself for the kids to do.

..
The host was very rude attacked us verbally and had nasty things to say to us, there is no hoover to clean up no bins to throw the trash out glasses was filthy the beds had pet hair and long hairs there was no running water at night I wouldn't recommend staying here the host also rang and left a voice mail threatening us her behaviour is very disgusting and uncalled for not professional business at all..

I loved the caravan, it is so stylish and cosy. Loved waking up with the sheep by my deck and the view of the loch. Lovely little caravan park, it was so quiet I had a great night's sleep. And the most cutest little egg shack shop I've ever seen within 3 minutes walk. I bought some fresh eggs and honey for my breakfast. Had a great time. Would definitely return if we come back to Scotland.
Roads were a bit scary to travel down but so worth it.

The caravan was lovely and modern. Had everything in it that we needed. Was ready at 3pm on our arrival. Host pre-warned us about the midges which was appreciated.....don't go out after 10pm, will be eaten alive.
The grill was really dirty, good layer of grease in it so hadn't been checked. Shower sealant was hanging off and shower door didn't feel particularly sturdy.

Amazing lodge overall, could not fault it ! Wonderful stay.
Towels, toiletries and bigger beds would of made this stay a lot more enjoyable. Too many pot holes and Mom parked up and there was a sharp object that burst her tyre.

Friendly staff, very clean, tidy and modern caravan. Lovely views of the Loch and countryside.
Some minor issues to be addressed: door handles to two rooms loose, front door difficult to open and close due to the door having shifted on its hinges. Site itself could have been tidier, there appeared to be some ongoing building work, with materials stored out in the open, around the historical tower situated at the centre of the site.

The tranquillity is devine. Views are spectacular & the accommodation was sublime. We will definatley return.
Not a dislike as such, more a hint. Theres no brush & shovel to sweep the floors ourselves. It woulda been handy for around the kitchen/main door area.

Absolutely spotless and everything you could need. Lovely views and so peaceful as caravans around me were vacant. Would def go back again.
Nothing...just one small comment. The site itself could do with a tidy up further down and could do with a bed lamp by bed and blackout blind but these are minor things and didn't affect my relaxing stay at all.

Great location, great value. Caravan was brand new and when they heard my folks were joining, we were upgraded for now extra cost.
There was damage on a door of the brand new caravan which i thought my kids had done, would have been good to know it was already there! But this wasnät a major issue, we had a lovely stay.

Loved the quiet location, plus the fact its a dog friendly site. You are only a short 5 min walk to the nearest beach. At the beach there were a couple of walks perfect for taking our dog a walk.
We loved the site, never had any faults for us. The nearest shop was a 15/20 min drive which some people may find annoying but we were out and about in the car so it was no problem for us.

Immaculately clean, everything we could have needed is in the property. Such a beautiful and tranquil location. We prefer a quieter site so purposely look for locations without entertainment and kids parks, you don’t need it anyway as there’s a beautiful beach within easy walking distance, forest trails and hill walking all within a short distance. Shops in Dunoon if required a 20 minute drive away along the coastal road which is very scenic along the sea loch.
The owners Hazel and Alan couldn’t have been more friendly and facilitating and made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. During a power cut they went above and beyond providing us with candles and checking we were okay. The caravans are well looked after but if you need anything else you just need to ask as stated on the useful information document in the property on arrival.
Not for people who need entertainment constantly but it does state clearly in the description that there is no shop or entertainment on site! Great for a peaceful retreat with family or couples wanting to enjoy nature in a beautifully kept property with friendly owners.
Nothing everything was excellent.
