Clean and tidy caravan with beautiful views over the fields and sea. However, the toilet door locks didn’t work, toaster

The place was clean and tidy, with a lovely view overlooking the fields and the sea.

The toilet door locks were not working, the bread toaster didn’t work properly, and the shower water flow was extremely slow. The mattress was also very basic and quite springy, which made it less comfortable for sleeping.

Really good fun and we would love to come back.

Location was great for the family and dogs, lovely beach and trail walks. The property was modern, clean and comfortable, it was ideal for our weekend stay.

10am check out isn’t ideal but wouldn’t put us off booking again, 11/12pm check out time would be fab.

Very relaxing stay. Whole family loved it.

Lovely decking area with view. Having a proper seetee in the livingroom and a proper bed in main room made it much more comfortable. Quiet site with beach in close proximity.

Peaceful location

Location was perfect , lovely and peaceful and the caravan was clean and fresh . On arrival the fridge didn’t seem cold , went and spoke to the owner and within 2-3 mins the problem was discovered to be too much ice . This was quickly cleared and even removed a spider for me ( fear of them) . Friendly place and loved the quiet peaceful surroundings. Will definitely be back .

Only fault was the water was either scolding hot or cold . But I had read about this in several reviews, so was aware .

Nice, spacious caravan with everything you need for a short stay. Good outlook. Enclosed decking.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Loaction quite and remote. Just what we wanted. Loved the view and easy access to local beech.

The mattress on the bed is probably getting a bit tired. Occasional nasty smells form the bathroom drain.

Fabulous!

Everything what we needed was there….. private escape, overwhelming nature, beautiful beach, loch…. Perfect spot for holiday ! The caravan was very clean, very well equipped. Highly recommend this place!

Perfect stay

Everything was perfect, thank you so much for extra time at the caravan as we reached there late night especially with my baby so didn't wanted to wake them up early morning and leave.

Definitely coming back

Not the newest of caravans but this did not bother us at all and it was clear from Booking.com photographs. It's clean, well-appointed, spacious, well equipped, warm, comfy beds, lovely view, quiet. The surrounding area is simply stunning, we walked, ran, cycled, swam, paddle boarded, just couldn't get enough of it. Even the dreaded midges weren't too much of a problem most of the time. Excellent communication with Hazel- thanks for the ferry tip ;) Ticked all the boxes. I'm almost tempted to criticize more to keep this lovely place a secret ;)

Just a couple of things. We really struggled to regulate the constant temperature of water for the shower. It kept cycling between cold and extremely hot (up to scalding). I downloaded the manual but it simply recommends waiting some time before it stabilizes- which it does not. Safe option- just run the bath, but this seems like a waste of water. Also a faint sewage smell from coming from the plumbing. I am assertive enough :) so were we to stay for much longer (alas it was only 3 nights) I would have reported both these issues to a manager who was on the site all the time, but such a short stay it was not a problem really. Certainly worth rectifying, but we enjoyed the stay so much we would go back even if this wasn't done.

The location is very nice near to the beach The accommodation is very clean The view is amazing with the fields and sheep and the water

Was very noisy from the neighbours although the place should be relaxing and the owner couldn’t do anything about it The main bedroom matters was not comfortable at all The hot water gets unexpectedly so hot it burns our hands so many times you should put a label on it to let the users aware before using it
