The location is amazing! You wake up to the stream just a 30 s walk from the cottage. The dog walking path is absolutely gorgeous behind the property. The fireplace near the stream is a great experience.
The information about activities are misleading. We were informed that there is no activities like fishing, horse riding etc although it is listed on their profile.
The hot water to take a shower is not enough for even 1 person in the property that sleeps 8. One guest had to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. Electricity is also an extra charge. It runs on a very old system of adding coins to keep the electricity running. The lights and appliances would go off constantly and someone had to keep renewing it.

The locality was amazing. Playground for kids was an added bonus. We choose the 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms and the lodge was roomy. It was dated but very acceptable and clean. We had 2 car parking spaces.

Good location, the lodge was roomy and accommodated 6 Adults, 2 children and a newborn. There were 2 ensuite bathrooms and a main bathroom. There was a playpark and large grass areas for games. There is also a woodland walk / dog walk. Our Lodge has its own deck with brick BBQ.
Some parts need refurbishment especially the outside deck which is loose/ rotten in parts. We moved the outside table to cover the loose boards. Overall the property was well equipped and had a dishwasher. We stayed just 3 nights but if staying longer, please note there is no washing machine. The sofa bed was really awkward to assemble. The owners struggled with this themselves for a good 10 minutes but eventually got it sorted. We left the sofa bed made up during the whole stay due to this.

Great location, ideal for climbing Munros and Corbetts. Well appointed comfortable lodge.
No instructions provided for using the TV and I only persuaded it to work for a short time before ‘no signal’ came up. Arrangements for paying for electricity were unclear. I was expecting someone to call with me between 5 and 6 on the day I arrived (as per the message I had received). This didn’t happen. So I waited around next morning rather than. Heading out for a walk as planned.

Warm welcome on arrival from Glenda. spacious lodge with everything you need in it for cooking and dining etc. Cleaning items and washing liquid, dishwasher and tablets, toilet roll included in Lodge. Lodge has a lovely new kitchen and 3 bathrooms. Showers are powerful and hot. It's dog friendly and child friendly. Great dining area Great location with lots to do around the lodge and nearby. Beautiful location with clear view of the stars at night. Option to have a fire pit with starter kit at additional cost. Lovely meal in dog friendly killin Hotel. We had a lovely time and would return again.
Very clean, but could use a dust around walls and ceilings. Found a cigarette packet behind bedside cabinet when plugging in charger. When you add on additional charges it can become a lot more expensive than you first think.£7 per night for electric. Other electric charges are confusing. £60 for two tiny dogs for two nights is more costly than other places. The same price applies for stays up to 4 nights. Appreciate the dog friendly gates, but won't keep in small dogs as the fence gaps are big enough to get through. Water is boiling hot and could use a caution sign. Here for a two night stay so was a bit surprised to receive a message upon waking up after night one saying you're stay is almost over and a list of instructions about leaving the lodge - checkout time on this message would have been a helpful reminder but was in folder. Not a big deal but made our break feel like it was over before it began. Info folder needs updating as some local info is put of date.

Lovely, friendly and helpful owners. Nice, clean, well equipped lodge. Pet friendly. Very peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful scenery, in a great location, five minute drive to Killin, shops, pubs/restaurants etc. Great for hill/dog-walking and scenic drives. Also perfectly placed as a base for visiting many other beautiful locations - Pitlochry, Aberfeldy, Crieff, Stirling, Oban, Loch Lomond, Glencoe - all within an hour or so drive. We loved it and hope to return in the future!
