Excellent location for visiting top tourist attractions, situated right next to the Highland Wildlife Park. A host of attractions within 30 mins drive of accommodation. We visited the Highland Wildlife Park, working sheepdogs, Highland folk museum, Aviemore and the Cairngorms attractions. Accommodation was fully equipped and also has a bbq area on site.
There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Location was beautiful, quiet. Just was lovely
Looked a little tired, but had everything you needed.

Ideally placed for Aviemore and the Cairngorms
Decor was a bit dark so gave an unwelcoming feeling not helped by quite a lot of overgrown weeds surrounding the area
Fridge needs to be replaced as the surround is broken. Works OK but didn’t look very good
Paying for electric separately is something of a novelty these days

The location was good a five minute walk to a bus stop, twenty five minutes drive to cairngorms Loch Morlich area fifteen minutes drive to Aviemore ,next to the A9.
Nothing.

Fab location, very welcoming and had everything we needed. Just what we wanted!

Calm and cozy. We loved watching the pheasants walking around the grounds. Good location. We had wifi directly in the cottage so no issue at all here. Remember to have some cash to pay for the electricity (for us it came up to 26£ for 6 nights in early may, we turned on the heaters quite a bit)
Its all nitpicking but here are a few things we missed. A rag for the dishes would have been nice. A few basic cooking goods (oil, salt...) would have been greatly appreciated. We would have loved a blanket for the couch too! The carpet had a bit of dust / dog hairs in it. Also some shampoo and soap in the shower would have been great. Again it's just nitpicking, this is a lovely place and totally worth it.

We had a lovely stay at Meadoweside Cottages. Friendly hosts who were on hand in the main house. Great location with easy access to Aviemore and the Cairngorms. Clean and comfortable with a fully kitted kitchen. Reasonably priced (unlike many other properties in the area that have got very greedy!).
The wifi is pretty poor - I struggled to work. You pay for electricity (which we knew when we booked), but our bill for 5 nights, family of 5 (with no heating) came to £13 so not a big problem.

Good value, quiet, close to wildlife park, safe
Pale curtains made it difficult to sleep due to long summer daylight, especially for children.

Nice spacious and comfortable cottage, clean and well-equipped and even nicely decorated. The road is close, but doesn't have much traffic at night, so it was quieter than we thought even though our cottage was the closest one. Location is good as many regions of the Cairngorms park can be easily reached, and the wildlife park close by is certainly worth a day-long visit.
Wifi is sparse and only usable near the center building. Also LTE coverage isn't enough in all rooms, which was a bit of a nuisance as these days you really need the internet to plan tours and book tickets online. Parts of the kitchen equipment was a bit worn out.

Nice layout of cottages, set out in interesting way. Quiet secluded position, but could hear some noise from the nearby road. Great having 2 bedrooms for just the 2 of us to spread out a bit more. Central enough to access both Aviemore and Kingussie.
Apartment initially smelt somewhat musty and closed up, but this did clear once we opened it up.

The location is remote (and all the better for that).
The rooms were comfortable and clean.
After riding 700 miles on motorcycles we were disappointed that there was no tea or coffee.....so remember to take some and you'll be happy with the accommodation.

Location is very good, being ideally situated as a base to access all activities and attractions in the area. Cottage (Iona Cottage) was spacious and clean.
We were unexpectedly told on arrival that electricity was extra (to be paid in cash) and metered. When our surprise was evident, we were told that it was "in a clause" - ie, in the Terms & Conditions small writing. Secondly, although advertised in the listing as having wi-fi, our cottage (Iona) was the one in the group without. There was also no washing machine, and facilities were basic. Walking direct from the compound containing the cottages is very limited - on one side the Highland Wildlife Park boundary, on the other the main road, busy A9, railway and river. So you have to use car or bike to go to a walking area outwith.

What a beautiful place, situated in the heart of the Highlands. The location is ideal, the lady who owns/runs it is so friendly. Great value. Didn't want to leave

The location and surroundings were terrific. We had a three year old grandchild with us and he could safely play around the accommodation. The rooms were very large and the furniture including beds were very comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen were clean and well decorated. Bedding and toweling were excellent.
