No food. No coffee. Kitchen a little small for 4 people, Single beds lumpy not so comfortable. No heat at night.

Spacious and comfortable cottage. Lovely garden to relax in and let the dog wander around in. Inside the property has a good kitchen, good heating, a good shower and plenty of hot water. Clean and comfortable beds and bedrooms. Only 15mins from Aviemore and on the doorstep of the wildlife park and A9.

The only thing was that it's not terribly hospitable in terms of making you feel good about dropping well over £200 a night to stay there. It's very old fashioned in that sense. Felt like a student flat rather than an expensive cottage experience. Many places these days will leave you tea and coffee, fresh milk, maybe a loaf and some breakfast bits. The place we stayed just prior to this even left dog treats and a neck tie for the dog. This place is empty and you get the bare minimum. A little personalisation goes a long way.

The location is very peaceful and right next door to the Highland Wildlife Park which is great. Easy access to Aviemore and the surrounding area. The property is well presented with everything you would need for 4 people. There's a garden with seating and a fire box, which is great for sitting out of an evening, watching the swallows flying about.

Would have been great to have a few teabags, milk and salt and pepper. Also, maybe if a lamp could have been left on as we arrived in the dark.
