Campsie Glen Holiday Park

Just a brilliant hideaway that was (embarrassingly) previously unknown to me. Stunning location, brilliant friendly staff, such a great place to escape to. We got super lucky with the weather at this time of year, but will defo be back

Tiny gripes. We were blessed with the weather, but if I was thinking of returning as Winter progresses, I would be looking a hot-tub that maybe had a retractable roof, as that makes a rainy day 'still' a hot-tub day.

The location and surroundings were lovely and the playground right outside our pod worked really well for us. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They spent nearly an hour to help us fix the remote control on the TV. The pod was very clean and had everything we expected. It was nice and warm. It was also handy to be able to charge my EV on site though I find this could be advertised more clearly.

The shower block near the pods is in dire need of some basic repairs. All 5 shower/toilet rooms had at least one issue. 3 had faulty locks (very uncomfortable if you want to take a shower), 2 had broken soap dispensers, two had faulty taps that just wouldn't turn off. The taps in general had the water pressure turned up too high, which meant that each time you used them you ended up splashing all over the floor or the kids faces. The one shower room that had soap and a functioning lock (far left) had no lights and smelled of mould. None of these issues seem difficult to fix.

Bathrooms were clean and spacious. The glamping hunt was clean and tidy too.area was well maintained. Staff were very friendly..nice play park and river for river dipping. Very warm and toasty inside the glamping hut.

The mattress were a bit hard and worn. Also the window made a whistling noise during the storm gusts. The little freezer door didn't shut and leaked a little bit. Also the remote didn't work for the tv even after putting new batteries in. But in all these were tiny issues.

Nice and clean and comfortable

They advertised the swimming pool was going to be open when it wasn’t! Also the park had no swings or anything for toddlers.
