Unfit for purpose
Where to start? Communication with host was not good: he didn't precise which key box (there are 3) until we asked once in front the address. The place is in a very bad state of repair. Electric plug opened and sticking out of wall, the kitchen worktop is broken and unhygienic. The carpet in kitchen is very damaged and a trip hazard. No proper curtains rails in bedroom. The bathroom: badly designed and little space when sitting on toilet, radiator so close we are burning legs while sitting on the loo. The paint is flaking from the walls, No hangers for clothes, the shower glass support is not fixed properly, bed is not a full size double (uncomfortable if a couple). Front door looks like it has been forced. No welcome pack for information needed. Bare minimum of kitchen equipment And in staircase, lots of damage on walls including graffiti with swear words. This place is unfit to be hired out

Very helpful host, well-equipped flat on main bus routes
The flat is well-equipped: fridge, oven, kettle, microwave etc. There is a good amount of dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils. The flat is right next to bus stops going both in and out of the city, and with three bus lines so it’s easy enough to reach most places of interest in Glasgow. It’s also close to the new Renfrew bridge, so the airport is a short taxi ride away. The host is extremely responsive and ready to help.
The flat’s doorlock is difficult to open; once you get the hang of it it’s okay, but the first few tries can be stressful. The flat is on the first floor looking out to a main road, so there’s traffic noise most of the time during the week, even at night.
