Very comfortable stay

It was a lovely place; clean, spacious and very comfortable. The beds were great, parking easy and the instructions and tips all very clear. If we're in the area again, we would definitely rebook it!

The only thing that wasn't immediately clear was figuring out how the shower worked. None of it were used to this type, so if I have to think of something, this would be it, but honestly with internet helping us it was no big issue at all.

Lovely cosy apartment

The apartment is superbly decorated with an impressive attention to details and to providing every possible comfort. The space was utilised in such a clever and efficient way that we were surprised by how spacious the apartment is. We loved the Christmas decorations and the very nice welcome pack and message and found the whole place very comfortable. The hosts were so friendly and available and gave very clear instructions about everything. We travelled with our dog and cat and they were very accommodating about that, so definitely a pet friendly place! Aberfoyle is very charming and the view of the mountains and the sky, oh my, it was so beautiful! There’s so much to explore in the area but unfortunately we only stayed for two days. Definitely a place to return to!

Nothing really. The only thing that we struggle a bit with at first was the hot water regulator in the shower. We could not get the right temperature, either too cold or too hot, mainly because we’re not used to an electric shower. But it was all good then 👍

Delightful stay with no problems.

Lovely location. Pictures don’t do the apartment justice: it’s much better. Beds were very comfortable and hosts (only chatted with online) are also nice. Would come back here if we ever revisited this area. Really feels like a home.

Amazing little property. The owner has made it home from home has got so many little details. Absolutely spotless and only 20 mins away if you have any issues . Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay . Location is great for exploring Aberfoyle.

Comfortable, excellent location and great facilities

We had a fantastic stay. Tristan was extremely friendly and helpful, and the apartment was super comfortable. There were all the facilities we could want and more - including a place to store our bikes and a dishwasher! Highly recommended as an adventure base in a beautiful part of Scotland :)

A super place to stay.

This is a super place to stay. It is easy to find, and very spacious for four. For sure, 4 adults would be comfortable. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, the second bedroom is large, the living room is tastefully decorated, nice bathroom. The whole place is spotless. It has the advantage of being centrally located in Aberfoyle. There was a very helpful booklet with instructions about the flat. There are lots of nice touches such as a set of menus for local restaurants, although we cooked ourselves.

Great accommodation, good for walks, and relaxing place

Place was really clean and very comfortable, had all you needed for a break. Location was in the centre and near walks etc. Good for exploring. Aberfoyle is a good place for short breaks. Co-op nearby for all your needs.

Nothing bad about the property. Its just a shame that some of the local restaurants have closed as well as some of the shops. Aberfoyle used to be much busier but I guess that is just sign of the times now. Think covid spoiled a lot of things

Had everything we needed, lots of space, ideal location to visit the area, easy parking.

The smell was very “lived in” but not too bad and we got used to it. Could be sorted by opening windows and adding some diffusers. This was a very minor thing and I’m probably very scent sensitive. Otherwise it was perfect.

Exceptional value for money, immaculate flat with high standard of facilities

The location is fabulous and has private parking. Beds were really comfy and the rooms were very spacious. There was everything we could have needed and more. The owner was also so helpful.

Great apartment in Aberfoyle

Great apartment, well equiped. We felt like home.:) There is attention to the details in decoration, in the welcoming. My daughter love the "bees" blankets ! The location is great in the center of Aberfoyle, close to shops, restaurants. It is also central for many visits and trails in the lochs and Trossachs area. I definitely recommend !

Not much to mention here ! Maybe the double bed mattress was a little bit too soft for our taste. The bed comforter was too warm for summer time.

Great stay!

Prime location! Coop is within walking distance. There are restaurant, pharmacy and tourist centre just around the corner. It is new inside the property. Deco is cozy and lovely. There are board games which are great for children to spend time. The kitchen is equipped with necessary to prepare a simple meal. Owners are very friendly and checked with us from time to time to make sure everything is fine.

The outside of the property is slightly run down. However, did not affect our stay. The bed is too soft to my personal preference.

There are several lovely sights to see in the local area. There are amenities - pub, shops, cafes nearby. Flat was really clean and tidy, with everything we needed for a family of four. Easy to get in and had lots of storage. The hosts were superb, generous and attentive.

The shower was a bit lack lustre.

Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Feels like at home. Amazing selection of up-to-date brochures and guides + books about local things + menus from local restaurants. Fully-equipped kitchen. Warm (remote) welcoming with persomal message and small targeted gifts (prosecco for the parents, soda for the child). One of the most outstanding places we've EVER stayed at.

Too few or unsuitable hooks for towels, etc. in the bathroom (they have lovely huge comfy towels which are far too long to hang anywhwere. No electrical socket in bathroom. The mattresses were too soft.

Hygge time in Aberfoyle

Very cosy, comfortable and immaculate throughout. Very close to amenities on high street but at the same time very quiet in the flat. Location really convenient for our stay. Owners have us a wonderful welcome and were very attentive and would have been super easy to contact if needed.

Common stairwell very dirty. Appreciate its used by both council and private owners but a couple hours brushing down walls and a lick of paint would make good for a year or two. Might give others a pride in their homes and access.

Excellent place to stay in Aberfoyle

This property was right in the center of this quiet town. It was clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed. Communication with the host was great. It was a wonderful place to spend the night while traveling through the area. There was a travel information center/shop right across the street. There were also a few paths to walk around in the area.
