Booked a stay when we arrived he told us we needed to cancel on our end cuz of the storm. Promised we would get our money back but I have never seen it. Tried contacting them several times but got nothing back from them.

Remarkable selection of fascinating people
No reception - Confused staff - very unclear on who was in charge, where we could camp and what facilities were available.
Needed to cue for 30 minutes for a shower
People coming and going all night
In contrast to a week camping in the Hebrides this was an insight into mainstream tourism. It needs management.

Amazing views from our caravan spot. The stars are seen easily from the campground.

The site and owners had a little bit shady vibe to them. The property was named "sth. sth. Hotel" before changing its name to campsite. Many other travelers we saw there were misled and thought this was more of a hotel and that the tent pitches were ready-made tents. The pictures are mostly misleading (in particular, the house is not a fancy manor but a small and cheap imitation of one).
There were too few toilets leading to queues and they were in poor condition. Lots of lights were on throughout the night, making it hard to sleep. There was no "quiet after 10 pm" rule so it remained noisy quite late into the night.

Great staff, nice and quiet place with an amazing view. We had a nice time.
Not enough space for breakfast as it was crowded with people but we could stay out and finish our breakfast as well. And generally to have more toilet especially on peak days( we didn’t bother with that)

My **premium tent stay** at this campsite had its ups and downs. The **host was absolutely lovely** – super friendly, helpful, and really made the experience welcoming!
**The Good:**
✔ **Gorgeous location** right on the trail
✔ **Comfy premium tent** with decent amenities
✔ **Fantastic host** who went above and beyond
**Perfect for** hikers who want a convenient stop with great hospitality, but might not wow you in terms of value. That amazing host really saved the experience!
**#WildCamping #HighlandHospitality #MixedExperience**
*Pro tip: Bring extra cleaning wipes just in case!*
Could Improve:
✘ **Pricey** for what you get
✘ **Cleanliness** could be better (especially for the cost)

The nearby environment is very beautiful, the air is fresh, and it is quiet to sleep at night. The employees are very friendly
It is recommended to check the review of the on Google Maps before booking, the evaluation of the two software is very different. When I booked the campsite information on the above is a five-room tent, I did not expect to go to the tent is additional to pay, they provide only a venue for you to set up a tent, I think if you can indicate below the reservation information that the project does not provide tents and tents need to pay additional information would be better.

Class breakfast options, I left a bottle of oat milk in the fridge in case anyone wanted it.
I think the website could be clearer as to what you're paying for, it seemed like I paid for a bed but apparently I only paid for a place to pitch a tent

Very pleasant experience, a warm welcome and good facilities. Although I didn't utilise the breakfast, I was made aware that a free continental breakfast comes with the booking which is nice from a campsite.
Very little to complain about really.

The location is simply breathtaking. The mountains loom behind the site, with rolling fields and beautiful woodland all around. I’m going back to Scotland at the end of the month and will definitely be stopping here again!! It was so close to Glasgow but really felt like the middle of nowhere 😍

This is a passion project and you notice it, which is amazing. The campsite is ideal as a starting point for the west highland route (for which you'll do the first 1.5h walk from Milgavie station your arrival day); but I would definitely recommend it for a multi day stay. It's comfortable and spacious, there are tables where you can choose to order some food from the local kitchen or prepare your own dinner; you never feel like consumption is required. Coffee/Tea is present, what a luxury. Comfortable & clean bathrooms available.

A great location that feels miles from nowhere but is easily accessible. It was great to have breakfast included and this was an opportunity to chat with other guests. Very quiet during the night. I have no doubt that I will return.

I did not like a single thing over there because there was nothing to like about it was around 30 to 40 minutes away from Glasgow it was a hilly road and if you are going in the night it's a very scary road you have to drive very very safely plus the hotel management is not very friendly there are very rude and sometimes they scam you like the way I have explained. so be careful and do not a book them stay in the city but do not with these people. Because even if you have booking they will cancel your booking they will take your money and they will not return it.
There was nothing to like over there actually when we reach there the receptionist guy made us wait 30 minutes and then after that he told us that the room you guys have booked is not actually a room but they are actually the parking spaces but when we have booked that thing on the booking.com it was showing as a room and that's why we were there at around 11:30 p.m. in the night and then he made us wait 30 minutes and then after that he cancelled the booking and then it's been a month I have still not got any money back so that is the services this hotel has been given and this was not only us. there was three four other parties like group of friends who are facing the same kind of issue.

The setting was beautiful, great site, really helpful friendly staff, dog friendly, there wasnt hundreds of rules like many other sites, allowed you to have off ground camp fires, will definitely go back
Minor thing but two of the bathrooms didn't have lights so once it got dark it was a bit inconvenient if these were the only available ones.

Warm welcome. Convenient for west Highland Way.
I was camping, not staying in the hotel
Lots of dogs running loose. No alcohol available to buy, even with meal. Lounge and dining room had doors to outside which were constantly being used, often not closed, which was very cold for mid-March, but I was camping so it was a bonus that I had an indoor facility at all.

We've been lucky enough to travel and stay in campsites in over 14 countries and we've never felt as welcomed as we have here. The owners and staff were wonderful, always making sure we have what we need. The location is incredible with the west highland way on your doorstep, our dog loved it!
On top of this there was free coffee, lovely breakfast and fast WiFi!
There's nothing to dislike

Nothing
Everything. Poorly managed, rude, left people waiting to book in for half an hour. Not set up for the west highland way at all.
Camper vans, emptying there toilets in the site toilets, no elsan points, showers are filthy.
Food awful, not a pleasant experience at all.
My mom, myself and my son walking the west highland way, and i would not recommend going to this campsite.

Never stayed at the property phoned and cancelled my booking the day before arrival. Also emailed to cancel booking . Was told I'd receive my refund but still haven't received it.
They could be better at communicating with booking.com to verify my cancellation at that I was entitled to a full refund as I kept to the cancellation rules for getting refund.

Good location, easy to find, good for pitching my tent. Loved the free tea and coffee and getting breakfast in the morning was excellent for setting off on the West Highland Way
Only negative is the lights over the house/B&B portion of the site which stayed on all night and affected my ability to sleep.

Beautiful place to stay. Staff are incredibly helpful and kind.
Maybe there could of been more toilet facilities but for our two night stay it wasn’t a massive issue
