Enjoyed everything about my stay. Friendly staff and guests, good facilities including a guest fridge for milk etc. Shepherd’s hut very comfortable with a stove and electric heater. Bathroom in the main building only a short walk away and felt very private. Would absolutely stay again.

I visit this campsite 4/5 times since getting into camping and Bushcraft etc
I like the choice of different areas to camp, free breakfast, I like this campsite I will be back this summer.
I was doing The Great Tommy Sleep out for charity supporting our veterans and they let me camp for free. Thank You So Much.
Also I was the only one camping but was made to feel safe, as i usually camp with someone. I was the only tent..
The rain. That's out of ur control but yeah the weather was rubbish 😊

The main house was beautiful albeit very small. Liked the variety of accommodation available. They let us upgrade from a bell tent to the shepherds hut due to the weather forecast.
The lounge could only seat about 8 and about 12 in the dining room.
We stayed in the shepherds hut which was great, apart from the floor being saturated. Not sure why but we had to wear flip flops.
We ordered now of chips, for £5! They were the skinniest French fries that were cold and hard.
Breakfast was supposed to be available from 7am. One person turned up at 7.10am and then started to bring items out. By this time there was a huge queue of people waiting. We ended up quickly having crumpets and a cup of tea and leaving.
