The location was perfect! Plenty of room for all the family in the house

Only downside was how warm the house got, but that was due to the nice sunny weather.

We stayed here for a large family gathering (11 people, three generations ages 2 - 75). It is a most amazing house with all bedrooms ensuite and multiple public rooms to meet everyone's needs. The master bedroom is astonishing! The kitchen is huge with a large table that allowed us all to dine together with room to spare. There is lots of freezer and fridge space. The property has a huge conservatory with multiple doors that open onto a very large garden which is secure if you have small kids. We used the BBQ that was provided. A large Co-op store is with a couple of minutes walk. The village is also only a few minutes walk away and has lots of good eateries, pubs, Fish and chip and a large park ideal for kids. There is lots to do in the area and we especially enjoyed hiring a katakanu (a 4-6-seater, twin-hulled very stable canoe boat from "In your element") and going to see the local Ospreys from the Loch. The owner of the house, Jan, was amazing and gave us all the information we needed well in advance and kept in contact during our stay to ensure everything was going well. She had lots of suggestions of things to do etc in the area which she sent to us before our visit. Thank you so much Jan! This was the best big family trip we have been on, mainly because of the lovely house and its location and suitability for a family gathering. We will be booking again as it was a perfect holiday in every way.

The property was very spacious and clean. There was enough room for our group of 12 to move around without feeling stuffed. The host was amazing and attended to all our queries promptly. The property was clean and spotless!

We absolutely loved this gorgeous home- so cosy, welcoming, beautifully decorated and spacious for our group of 14 plus 2 dogs! Jan has created such a special place for guests to enjoy together- multiple indoor areas to relax in ( including a stunning sunroom with doors opening out on to the private walled garden); cosy bedrooms each with an en suite and the kitchen/dining area is perfect for group cooking/dining together. We felt so at home and would love to return for another gathering in the future 😊

Everything was perfect and Jan was such a generous, communicative host. Wouldn’t change a thing 🤩
