Thanks to the owners for providing us with an ideal location for a cosy November mini-break.

Second time staying here. Being met in person (rather than using a key safe) was great, especially given we arrived after normal business hours (having arranged to do so in advance). The flat had everything we needed and is in a central location. It was November and very rainy, so we appreciated that it was warm and right in the centre of town.

Spacious, clean Good location

There was a loud banging door noise all through the night on the first night. A close door that was being used and a garden gate. We managed to snib the gate and wedge the door so the second night was peaceful. But close door needs to be soft closing. Being a group of ladies some extra shelving in the bathrooms would have desirable.

Ideal accommodation for a weekend stay!

The location is ideal with bus stop, ferry terminal and town centre shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes & seafront all within a short walking distance

Disappointed at standard of flat considering the price.

Apartment clean but very basic

Apartment felt closed in as windows very high, bedroom had just a tiny window. We have stayed in different locations in Largs and this was a last minute booking which is over priced. It is central, round corner from pub, music can me heard until late and then noise from revellers going home.

Cosy clean & compact apartment

Clean, cosy, compact & conveniently located apartment. 2mins walk to bars/restaurants and ferry terminal. Super comfy beds & everything you need for a short break. Communication with John, Laura & Nicky fantastic as well would highly recommend!

A curtain to separate the living area from the bedrooms is a suggestion? Though the apartment it was lovely & quiet and we all slept so well!

Not For Me

Bed was clean and comfy as was the flat in general but apart from that, disappointing stay not for me.

NO PARKING I was told there was, & road & pavement were very narrow so even trying to drop off luggage etc was a nightmare as other cars could not get past and it was one way to move & let them past & you had to go round in a big circle to get back & try again absolute nightmare esp as I'm a blue badge holder. I would have thought a dishcloth & tea towel would have been standard & included in the kitchen but no & I had to go buy them myself. Street window was to high to reach & close as it was noisy outside and a little step up would be an idea to buy again troublesome for anyone but as I have disabilities was a nightmare. Bathroom toilet seat is loose & needs fixed and signs of mould which has just been painted over to hide. Kitchen sink blocked, again I bought a little plunger & unlocked it myself.

Weekend escape

The apartment was great for the weekend, location is spot on and so much do within walking distance. Had a great time combing the beaches and across in Millport. Very handy location for popping back to the toilet or to change kids etc.

cobwebs everywhere next to door/windows, let me make this clear the flat was CLEAN! Just needed a quick trip round with the duster to catch those webs, The noise polution from the pubs close by was noticable however they do close at a reasonable hour so again, no major issue for us. The fact the front of the building is missing some guttering unfortunately creates a bit of a waterfall the second any rain starts was definitely annoying though.

The kitchen was clean, it was close to where we wanted to be and the owner was really accommodating

Location was very handy as it was literally round the corner from where we wanted to be and to the front of the seafront

The bunk beds had not been cleaned for my two children, luckily we could borrow linen from my mother in law’s as my 18 year old daughter refused to sleep in it and my 14 year old son had to sleep with his parents as he refused to sleep in his, and we had had a long trip to get there, the only good thing is we messaged the owner and a cleaner came the next day to put clean sheets on, also there is too many pictures advertised it is literally a 1 bed flat with the bunk beds in the hallway, and damp on the blinds need replacing as people can see through

it’s a lovely property but the beds are all in one space (not two separate bedrooms) with an arch separating it from the living area, not a true door. It was fine and served our purpose but not what we were expecting.

Dirty, floor not vacuumed, skirting boards Dirty, shower dirty, cutlery dirty, last person's shower tube top.left in shower, last person's washing scourer left. The place needs a good deep clean, mattress needs changing, it's old and uncomfortable, the room blinds are broken. Shame because it could be a lot better
