A clean, very well equipped apartment in a great location, just a short walk from the town centre, supermarkets, cafes, etc. The apartment has two comfortable bedrooms with lots of storage space and feels very much like a home from home. The block is quiet and has a great view over the Gogo burn with squirrals and birds to watch. There is on-street car parking and while the street is a little busy, we had no problem finding a parking space each day. We also appreciated the WiFi, which works well and the little extras in the kitchen, i.e. tea, coffee, and other necessities for cooking. All in all, would recommend to other visitors and would be happy to return when back in Largs.
The front door lock is a little temperamental, although that may be due in part to the wet weather.

Property is centrally located and within easy walking distance of shops, sea front and railway. Parking is on street, but we had no issue finding a space every day. We had some concerns about possible noise from the ambulance station opposite, but we didn’t hear anything from there or from outside. The property is on the top/second floor with stairs to reach it, so anyone with mobility issues needs to be aware. The apartment is well equipped and was comfortable. Host was helpful.
The downstairs neighbour had their TV on late at night and we could hear it whilst trying to get to sleep each night. We did sleep eventually, but it was a bit frustrating when there are signs asking guests to be mindful of the neighbours. The door was double locked by the cleaner which made accessing the apartment initially difficult. Once we knew this, it was okay. Putting litter and recycling into the outside bins was challenging as it wasn’t clear that to access the bins you have to go through the garden which you’re not allowed to use at other times. Also the recycling bins were overflowing. A couple more saucepans and glass jugs would be helpful for those wanting to self-cater.
