A lovely cottage near a beautiful forest. It had pretty much everything we needed. The key handover was completely straightforward via a door code. There is parking available right in front of the house.
There was a lot to consider before we arrived. We received a very long message that made us feel uncertain. Unfortunately, there was no comfortable sofa. When the neighbours talked outside at night in normal voices, we could hear everything through the wooden walls. This meant we couldn't sleep well. There were some strangers on the property as the hiking trail starts behind the house.

Great location for walkers, especially those with dogs. Many walks straight from your doorstep.
Cant say I didnt like anything really!....the weather! maybe (joke)....it was rainy, but it is Scotland.

Excellent lodge, clearly kept in fantastic condition. All 6 of our group had nothing but compliments for the lodge.
Nothing. Everything was perfect as advertised, only downside was bugs however this isn’t the fault of the owner.

A great location on the edge of the Argyll forest. We spent a lot of time on the deck watching the birds and enjoying the privacy. Pucks Glen was on our doorstep and it is a wonderful place for walking the dog. The Cowall area is beautiful and we were close enough to get to shops and attractions easily.
The lodge was comfortable and clean but it was a little tired. The beds were very comfortable but the living area furniture was not. On the whole we were happy with the lodge but it does need a bit of an upgrade.
