Barfad Self Catering Holiday Cottages

Lovely little cottage, very well equipped in a beautiful and peaceful location. Lovely walk through the woodland to the shore and Tarbet.

A warm, clean and cosy little cottage with everything we needed. Peaceful, charmingly secluded in lovely woodland, with Tarbet harbor a short walk through a woodland path. We used it as a base for the 5-ferries cycle and it was perfect. Kerry the owner couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Kerry adapted to our changed plans no problem and allowed us to store our bikes in the barn overnight. Fantastic value and we’ll definitely be back.

Nothing. It was basic, but had everything we needed.

Quiet clean and good location for us.

Double bed mattress far too hard, quite uncomfortable.

no breakfast as it was sellf catering lovely location easy access to tarbert & mull of kintyre it was quiet & had nice outdoor sitting area

basic breakfast stuff provided tea & coffee said there were eggs in an outhouse but there were none. more information about which unit i was staying in had to go & find the owner you then had to phone the cleaner. bath towels were too small . sofa smelled of dogs & was very worn.
