About this apartment rental

The flat is bright, homely, warm and comfortable. It is situated on the front street across from the beach, on the 2nd floor, within 7 mins walking distance from the pier where the ferry comes in, and 2 mins from the supermarket and town.
There are two bedrooms, one to the front with a kingsize bed and lovely views over the whole bay, and another with twin single beds. The flat sleeps 4 people comfortably.
There is a modern kitchen with all appliances, i.e. oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle and toaster etc.
There is a modern 5 piece bathroom with wc, wash basin, bath, shower and bidet. All towels and bed linen, shampoo and shower gel are provided, along with beach towels and buckets & spades for the kids. There is also wifi, a hairdryer, ironing board and iron, and a travel cot and high chair.
There is a TV with an Amazon Firestick also a large selection of dvd's in the comfortable front lounge, also a small TV in the kitchen/dining room.
There is a large free car park at the back of the building and your car is visible from the back windows, there are also free parking spaces at the front of the flat as well.
There is a key safe for access into the apartment.
We are very pet friendly.
There is a valid safety Gas Certificate, wired in Smoke Detector and Carbonminoxide Detector.

This place was perfect for our stay. The view was amazing! The kitchen had everything we needed. The location was great and parking was very easily found on the street in front of the building. Angela seemed truly interested that we had a great stay answering our questions about the flat and the area quickly. We all wished we had a couple of more days there.

Beautiful beaches, sunny weather, the flat was very well equipped and immaculately clean.Highly recommend everything there, like your own home. Very thoughtful touches.We had a relaxing, healthy break.Syrian cafe on sea front is excellent. Sometimes more difficult to get a meal in evening, one or two options only. Didn’t find recommended fish and chip restaurant very good but may have been an off day. Pizzas were shop bought cheaper style bases. Fish not great either.Hotel on Main Street upstairs restaurant very good and dog friendly.Would go again in a heartbeat.Diana

We had a wonderful time at Angela’s lace in Rothesay Bay. The bed was large and comfortable, the kitchen was large and well equipped and I appreciated all the bath products! The shower was simple to use as well. The views from the front windows were amazing and the place is light and bright.

Angela gave us all the information we could possibly think to ask for before we arrived, and there was still more information in books and brochures around the flat. Best of all was what we came to refer to as "the bible," which had the tips that most people just never think to mention - like exactly what the various washer cycles do and which wall switches and timers control what. To be honest, I was more than a little suspicious that in the description, there wasn't a picture of the double bedroom. So I was prepared for some sort of surprise. Nope. It was spacious and comfortable and had a killer view of Rothesay Bay. Since the flat overlooks a major street to the Bay, I had also been concerned about traffic noise. However, for all we could tell, everyone on the island must use electric vehicles at night. There was no noticeable road noise and, better yet, the 2:00 a.m. troubadors that seem to inhabit every town of any size must not like the acoustics in that area. Ample parking is right behind the building, but there is also ample free on-street parking right in front. Being naturally lazy, I went with the on-street parking, because it was a shorter walk to carry luggage in from the car. And I can't say enough about Angela, who practically hovered over us to make sure that we found the place OK, got in without any issues, and got cozied in without any confusion. She even followed up afterward to ensure our stay was perfect - a true hostess. We'll be back.

Flat located in a sea front location, with splendid views and good safe parking at the back of the property. We managed to park right outside, but this is not always possible during busy holiday periods. The flat was spotless and well equipped with everything that one may need. The only drawback is that it is located on the second floor of a 3 storey block, with commercial premises below. We hadn't realised this, which caused some climbing problems for my wife and also for my right knee. As we were not going up and down many times a day, it didn't however create too many problems. Would we recommend staying here, absolutely, especially as random contact with the owner was not a problem.

My wife and I booked this flat as we made our first trip to Bute. The apartment was nice sized and comfortable. The owner, Angela, was great and helped us through a bit of a quirky heating system (at least for us). There are a number of things to do on Bute. Top of our list is Mount Stuart, magnificant!

The accommodation is on the front street of Rothesay and being on the second floor you get a fantastic view over the harbour where you never get bored with the coming and goings. The apartment has everything you need and is very homely even if you have forgotten something there is every chance it is there. Angela is on hand if you need her assistance and is very helpful.

Booked this break as a birthday present for my partner and I’m so pleased I chose Angela’s property - she is a lovely host with clear, friendly and helpful communication . The check in process was simple and Angela had been chatting with me in the week prior so I had all the info I needed. The property is clean, spacious, bright, cosy and homely and had everything we would need and more ! As well as lovely personal touches and extra information for us for our stay . Will definitely hope to return some time in the future for another getaway!
