The location is perfect for those at the end-stage of the West Highland Way, but also for anyone wanting to stay in a cute little Glencoe town with good facilities (shop, pubs, takeaways) and great access to walks. It's a beautiful part of the world and Blackwater made it incredibly affordable. The toilet & shower block were impeccably clean (both M & F) and the sink & water area were large and clean too. We will be back!
We found no downsides. Obviously there is no sink/water/toilet in the camping pods, or towels/bedding, but we were aware of that and that's a huge part of the incredible price these go for.

The cabin was cosy, spotless, and surrounded by the most breathtaking, soul-soothing scenery — misty trees, quiet paths, and that wild Scottish charm. The atmosphere felt almost magical, like stepping into our own little woodland haven.
The staff were warm and friendly, making the whole stay effortless and welcoming.
A perfect wee retreat — I’d return in a heartbeat.
