That a staff manager lady answered my phone call.
That I couldn’t get to the place. There is a dead end road from Rannoch. The hotel is close to Rannoch on a map but in reality there is no road. Dead end. No information about it on booking.com, during a booking. You are in a middle of your trip, iyour child wants to sleep, you pay for a hotel, but you can’t get there. Thanks to the manager of the hotel, she actually responded to my call. But there is no chance to call to booking.com( no phone number) who can cancel the booking. They only send you to a type machine, which writes to you that it is your fault, stay with your child in the middle of nowhere, that is not a problem for booking.com

It’s just at the end of the WHW stage, so no need to look for your accomodation.
Very nice hot shower which was great after getting soaked in the rain.
I slept in the tent box which had a bit of mold building on its sides, which is probably normal in those humid conditions, but definitely not healthy.
The drying rooma were not enough to dry your shoes after all day of rain and there was no possibility to borrow a hair dryer.
The tenta seem extremely overpriced compared to other accomodations on the trail.

Cute camping experience in the barrel! In the communal areas you can do some cooking, or if you dont feel like it you can also heat up a premade meal in the microwave inside the room.

Was a lovely place, staff friendly and great location. Showers/toilets etc where clean and rooms where perfect for a place to sleep.
Nothing wrong with the place itself, just a shame there was a power cut that didnt just effect this place, there was no lights, heating, phone signal! Luckily the showers still worked though and water was still hot :) , nothing the staff could have done though and other than that its the perfect place to stay and we will return without doubt. :)

We loved our stay in a pod here while walking the WHW! Great location and fab showers.
Drying room was only turned on at night so didn’t dry anything very well! Laundry was advertised but unfortunately this was only available to those staying in the hostel. The outdoor camping kitchen was very basic.

The camping was very well organized, small but beautiful. The facilities were well maintained, clean and relatively close to each other and to everything.
The glamping pod was cozy, warm, it had everything that was needed and also a nice table to cook and eat outside
I would have appreciated a bigger drying room to put my tent to dry. As it rains so much in Scotland I would have expected more space dedicated to drying things while camping.
Also the door of the glamping pod was quite difficult to close.

A good place to stay if you're walking the West Highland Way.

Great stop off location for the West Highland Way. Pod was tiny but well equipped. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Hired bedding and towels for a small fee to avoid carrying. Overall good stay.
Beds not comfortable and very tight for 2- no space for luggage when in the beds for example. Also we went on an extremely hot day (unusually high 20’s)- the pod was literally boiling hot - had to leave door wide open to help keep cooler overnight. Bigger windows would help.

Lovely location, nice vibe
Pretty cramped pod for 4 adults, especially the singles beds, very little room for our stuff

The location is perfect, has basic facilities, and outdoor space. The pods are really comfortable and warm!
Wish there was more storage space (under the beds) and hooks to hang our clothes. It's a little pricey given the pod does not include bedding.

The staff were were very friendly and were able to help with any questions that I had. The tentbox was very spacious and had plenty of room for myself and bags. The facilities on site were good, had access showers, out door seating and and drying areas were available to use. It had good on site parking. The site has excellent views and is very close to the West Highland Way. It is close to local shops. The site is also within easy driving distance to Fort William.

Shower and toilets were clean and worked well.
Mattresses on beds were comfortable.
The staff were not very friendly or helpful.
The pod was very cramped, with nowhere to put our luggage.
There was no fan in the room.

The pods are super cozy, warm, and quite sound and light proof, which we really appreciated! Staff were lovely. Bathrooms and shared outdoor dining area well maintained. Just a quick walk to some shops and pubs in the town. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings!
It's quite bare bones - besides the restrooms, no indoor place to hang out (this is advertised though)
Showers turn off every few seconds and hot water is hit or miss. (Very clean facilities though.)

The pods are very nice and comfortable, and have the standard amenities for a luxurious WHW backpacking.
Showers were great! The kitchen outside was well equipped too.
The tables in front of the pods were quite convenient for a dinner under the last sunlight.

Simple accommodation but of a very good standard. Easy check in procedure. The pod was very clean and cosy. Washroom facilities were very good and clean as were the dish washing area. Very much geared up for people doing the WHW but also a very good base for anyone else. The enthusiasm of the WHW people adds to the atmosphere. Staff were nice and helpful. Thanks for a nice stay

Nice location.
Far too many campers (tent users) for the amount of facilities on offer. Two flushing toilets for approximately 100 people was not sufficient. Because it was raining those who had booked tent pitches were sleeping in the toilets, the washing up facilities were dirty and lots of food waste all over (fair enough that isn’t the staffs fault but other than at checkin there were no staff sighted). Lots of tent campers walking around all night on the gravel. Our glamping pod looked a bit worn but was ok. The site was ok, the facilities were not great but were not helped by the amount of people using tents and therefore the glamping pod at over £100 per night was simply not worth it.

Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. Staff especially went out of their way to make our night lovely. Advice on where to swim was helpful, where to eat etc. The whole site had a lovely, friendly feeling and I will definitely return with my children. Facilities were also exceptionally clean. Just an amazing night away.
If I didn't have to leave!!

The glamping pod was fine and was decent value for money. The reason I'm annoyed is because we paid £45 for 3 camping pitches because t the time there were no pods available. A couple of days later a pod appeared so we booked it to avoid the midges. It was still 3 days away from our arrival soWe asked for a refund on the £45 camping as effectively this just was an upgrade, but apparently computer says no. Either that or since they had been paid twice they don't give a crap. Maybe 3 people were denied a camping pitch that night as the West Highland Way was very busy due to the exceptionally good weather.
Also the place was unmanned when we arrived at 6.45pm and left at 9 am, tells you all you need to know about the staff at this hostel. It runs itself I reckon....

The glamping pods are in a beautiful location, loved the views around us. We had a very chilled and peaceful night here after climbing Ben Nevis.
The facilities are very clean as well as the pod. Well worth the money we paid!
The only downside was the glamping pod was very hot inside so we had to keep the door open during the night. A fan was provided though which helped! This was on a very warm day though which is understandable.

Nice staff, helpful with practical advice and recommendations. Clean facilities. Welcome drying shed. And the location opposite a former industrial site, actually quite fitting the story of the place. Pods well equipped with kettle, microwave, electric heater, and hair blower.

The staff member present did her best to accommodate our wishes for a larger pod.
When I booked the pod I really had no idea that there would be little room for my hiking partner and I (and our backpacks).

Great pods, good drying room, clean toilets and showers
A hairdryer available to borrow from reception would have been great
