Bed was very uncomfortable, was clean. Could upgrade beds and mattresses, especially when so many hikers use this facility.

Beautiful location and the beds were very comfortable. Impressed that there was a tv in the pod.

Unfortunate that on a walk to the river with the dog, it appeared there was dirty water or sewage coming out of a drain from the hotel. It was going straight into the river. Disappointed by this but have informed the relevant services.

Cute cabins. Comfy beds. Love the cute little deck. We had the double doors and that really made the place feel spacious when we could leave it open.

We saw mold in the corner of our hut towards the floor. Not happy with that. Showers could’ve used a shelf or hangers. Wish toilets were closer. Restaurant was super loud and annoying when kids were playing pool. Didn’t make it for an enjoyable restful time. Hard to hear each other.

The cabins and hotel are in an excellent location for completing the final leg of the west highland way. The staff I spoke to were all very friendly and helpful. The bed in the cabin was comfortable and there was plenty of space to meet my needs. The views around the hotel and cabin are stunning.

Whilst the cabin was clean, mine wasn't in the best state of repair. There was a broken blind on one window (didn't really bother me, but would expect basics like this to be okay for the price you pay), when it rained heavily, water leaked in through the door, soaking the floor - this also meant listening to loud dripping through the night. There are signs of mold from previous leaks which have been repaired. The shared bathrooms weren't particularly clean, with a huge amount of bugs and spiders around and detritus on the floor, but the toilet and sink were clean. The shower is pointless, you'd be better not having one as it was room temperature at best with little water pressure. I had read other reviews and expected these issues, so I wasn't surprised but it is still disappointing. My biggest issue was the breakfast. I paid £12.50 for a Scottish breakfast and it was an insult to Scotland. I was first in, so there was no excuse for food to be cold / undercooked by my egg and beans were cold, the bacon was barely cooked and the haggis had the consistency of glue. The tottie scone was nice though!
