Very happy overall - great location, affordable and friendly staff.

Location was central and great, there was enough parking for our rental car so that was convenient. They had a laundry that was no extra cost. Staff were very friendly.

Facilities were okay, just a little bit dated. Bathroom was a bit cramped. The actual cleanliness of the beds was very good but maybe carpets need to be cleaned more regularly. Honestly though, with location it was very great value for money and so I know if the place was perfect it would be unaffordable.

Good one night stay, spacious two bedroom apartment, plenty of towels and face towels were left out for us which we appreciated.

Wouldn't recommend for families

The accomodation was close to the event we were attending over the 2 nights we stayed.

The room appeared tidy but the smell was not great. Beds were very hard to sleep on. On our second night we had some other guests who was staying at the Motor lodge, drinking and playing music loudly and making alot of noise. One of them came into our room. But realised he walked into the wrong room. Not a very good place to stay if you have babies/children with that type of carry on.

Good value & location, however could do with some room upgrades

We found it to be a great location, was centred to all the different activities we wanted to do with the kids. The pool was a fun added bonus for the kids We also found owners friendly

We didn’t like the blinds in the bedroom or lounge area, as soon as the sun rose in the morning we were awake as they let in so much light - definitely could do with being replaced. The bathroom could also do with some serious work, the window latch was missing so the window did not close, the shower head was way too low, even for a short adult my head was over the shower head, meaning you had to duck to get under and wash hair and face. All rooms also ran off one small hot water cylinder and they recommended you waiting 20 minutes in between each shower otherwise the hot water ran out which is not very convenient for families

The pool was great, nice cool off. Our room was great for our family, good space for our kids to move around without standing on eachothers toes.

There were a few clumps of hair on the carpet... Trust my baby found 5 knots lying around.

Old building. Comfy bed!

Rooms were very clean & the beds were comfy. Hosts were very accomodating & friendly. Swimming pool is a great extra on a hot day. Free on-site parking was great! Had everything I needed for a weeks’ stay.

The building is very old & tired. The roots from the huge tree has wrecked the driveway. They really need a curtain as well as the blinds, to block out the security lights outside. It’s hard to get to sleep!

The carpark, definitely needs to be safety friendly, tree roots up ending into concrete. The stairs is a safety issue, especially when it is raining, slippery and some steps a bit loose. Ants in bathroom and kitchen. And no air-conditioning.

Friendly ataff but outdated motel

Staff was very friendly and nice

The motel felt old and outdated. I could tell the owner was doing their best to keep it clean, but the property is in need of significant upgrades. We booked a two-bedroom suite, yet there was only one toilet and shower for five people, which was inconvenient. It was also the first time I’ve stayed in a hotel or motel where there was no electrical socket in the main bedroom—I had to charge my phone in the kitchen.

Car parking,initially when we went there was a car park available,we went to town for newyear fire works and later we came back to the room to take rest around 2am there was no car park,random cars were parked and we tenants don't know where to park and have to leave my car on the path way,we had a fear some one gonna damage our car.So please ensure all tenants have their car parking.

This property is perfect location for Unitec university, bed was comfy and had all the facilities you need. As we were staying for 6 nights they kindly upgraded us so we had more space. Staff are amazing!

Shower head was placed quite low so to wash your head you need to crouch down. We also had a light on all night outside our window which was a little distracting but the blinds MOSTLY stopped it coming through

We had a very good three night stay. Several friends came and had coffee and meals at the cafe.

Loved the location and friendliness of the staff. Loved the Ledge cafe. We had lots of good coffee and the delicious food. It was a great location to meet friends who live nearby. Loved having sky sports as we were able to watch the Black Ferns game and other sports if interest.
