The staff is very helpful. High-class hotel. I really enjoyed my stay there. The hotel has everything you need, spa, food, near the sea, casino and more.

The lights in the rooms are very dim and it is sometimes difficult to see, to the point of turning on a flashlight on your mobile phone.

We booked a one night stay at Maritime Marina Bay as a quick escape from work, and the experience was consistently positive. Despite the low season and low occupancy, everything ran smoothly and the atmosphere was calm. The Zen Spa was the main reason we booked our stay and it absolutely delivered. The spa was clean, relaxing, definitely the highlight of the trip. Breakfast was served a la carte because of the season, but the quality was still great. We also enjoyed their cocktails at the Lime Lounge and dinner at Mandarine felt genuinely Michelin-level. The casino next door was a short but fun stop to end the evening. A very solid experience!

A five-star birthday weekend

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! I wanted to surprise my husband for his birthday, and the hotel staff played along 100% to make it memorable. We got an upgrade, the room had a splendid sea view, and he received a birthday cake tray in the room. We're not breakfast people but enjoyed the rich buffet on the terrace with sea view. The hotel has a little gym but I preferred running on the seafront. There's also a wellness center and an outdoor pool - which we'll try next time. This was certainly a 5-star experience, thanks to the professionalism of the hotel management and staff. See you again soon!

Very bad experience, this is the worse hotel I had stayed during my trip in Albania

The distribution of the hotel is very confuse. to find the restaurant, toilets etc the options in the breakfast are small and very poor presentation and taste The coffe machine in the restaurant doesn’t work, we asked for a coffee it was terrible. The bad part was when I received a text after leaving the hotel saying that iI took a pillow from the room and they want to me to charge in my credit card $60 euros First to all in Albania the currency is not the euros Secondly I never took with me a pillow I sent pictures of the inside of my luggage, it ridicules I did not like the way they treat me In others hotels I received upgrade of my room even I did not asked for it, I understand that every hotel is different but when I asked for the upgrade and the lady in the reception immediately answered not, we noticed that the hotel was empty not tourist by anyway I do not recommend stay in this hotel

Music was very loud in the middle of night in hallways, the family room didn’t have a window and another bathroom. The staff in restaurant could do with more knowledge of vegan food and could have more vegan options

Everything!!! The room is large and clean we had view to the wonderful sea side Various pools including 50mt large one and some others smaller ones including Infinity And small but exquisite sea beach multiple special spots to sit and leisure around the hotel viewing the sea and pool Lovely view from every spot Excellent Spa facilities included - I had one of my best massages treatments (extra charge-recommended!) Stuff was very helpful and accommodating Excellent Fine dinning dinner at the hotel restaurant Highly recommend

Fantastic experience - would recommend!

Had a great stay at Marina Bay - the hotel is very lively, with events taking place every day/evening in each of the 3 venues within the premises. The guest relations, Sonila, was extremely attentive and helpful throughout our stay.

Pretty on the outside, but not worth the price

Pretty on the outside. Nice waterside location. Big pool with lots of deck chairs.

Soulless on the inside. Was like a nightclub with accommodation. We arrived very late and our room did not have a blanket on the bed and there were no towels in our room. When requested for a blanket they said check the wardrobe. Not good for a 5 star hotel. Music was VERY LOUD around the pool. I felt like I was 25 again in Ibiza. Slow service in the restaurant. Breakfast was average. Maybe avoid on a weekend.

We liked the location a lot, it’s beautiful and the sea is very clean and wild. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, the beds were very high quality. The breakfast was great, all of the food in the restaurants and bars was amazing. We liked the beach area, it was stylish and comfy.

The service needs to get better in general, the cleaning service was unpredictable despite the fact that we asked for them to come at certain times, sometimes they didn’t show up at all. Nobody smiles, staff pretends you do not exist, which makes you feel unwelcome and weird. During the breakfast time they would never help you to find the table, it’s always a mess on the tables, you have to find the cutlery yourself. They have jambon iberico (whole leg), but you have to cut it yourself (I can do it, but many people are trying and doing it the wrong way, so it’s hard to cut it anyways). Even in mandarin restaurant, which is supposed to be fine dining nobody would clean your table after the first course, I couldn’t get why, so it’s always a mess, they give you the hot dishes trying to clean your table at the same time, you would never have the cutlery you need on time. We ordered the taxi to go to the airport several days in advance, it was supposed to be non electric car with card payment, but we got an electric car, which was 20 minutes late and in the airport the driver said “cash only”.

Luxury expectations, modest reality

The facilities are great, the swimming pool and the beach area are awesome, very picturesque.

When we arrived at our 4-people bedroom, there was zero towels in the room. Also, the bathroom lock was broken, so was the toilet paper holder. Also, had to change the towel at the pool area due to black paint stains. Seems like there is no quality control in place from the management. IMO, for the money you pay, these things are unacceptable.

They tried their best

The resort is beautiful, the room is very nice and comfortable. Solina at customer relations worked very very hard to try and make our experience positive. Though we had many many issues, the hotel management worked hard to try to fix it.

We are vegetarian. You'd think we were the first vegetarians that ever stayed at the hotel. I am not exaggerating when I say that every single meal was a problem. Every time we ordered something from the menu (and this happened in all the restaurants, over and over), we were told they don't have what we want. We weren't offered alternatives by the waiters and when management stepped in, the items on the menu were miraculously available. There wasn't a single meal that all menu items actually existed and that we didn't have any problems, not one. Even the cocktail that we ordered from the menu, we were told, is unavailable. We were told they will fix these issues, and we are sure they will because they seemed genuinely interested in fixing all the problems. The hotel compensated us several times and solina was very involved in trying to understand why this keeps happening. I am sure that these issues will be resolved with time, but it is why we're giving a 6.

Careful with your money!

Sadly I have been scammed by this hotel. Facilities are nice, but the staff is not competent.

I paid the hotel via bank transfer as I had a family suite and a double room. As the staff did not provide a reconciliation of the total I had overpaid of €150. It's been over a month I tried to get my money back and after being led on, they are not even responding my calls now.

Not what you expect from a 5*

Facilities are nice, however the staff is not able to meet the standards of a 5* and I have not been returned money I had paid in excess.

I have paid for my rooms via bank transfer and the staff promised me to get a refund via bank transfer. It's been a month of them speaking to managers, banks and ultimately now they don't pick up my calls. Very disappointing as it ruined my overall holiday and memory of it.

5 stars hotel but the service and the staff deserve 1 star..

The property is nice but a is not good for everyone for me I’m pregnant and I had too walk a lot every day to go to the other facility even the breakfast area is in deference building, and the private beach is nice but I had to go to the toilet a lot so I had to take the long stairs.

What makes me regret going there is the staff they are so rude so in professional all over the place maybe one or two of the staff their was polite and the manager Ariana she was good and helpful but the reason why I stayed there because they refused to refund my money so I had to stay there.

On the beach resort with all the amenities you need onsite.

Loved the beach and pool areas. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Really loved we had use of the spa facilities (except for paid services) the included spa services were so relaxing I spent an hour in there and came out so relaxed.

Carpet in room was the same one used in the casino. Old, bright and dirty. Breakfast was below par for the amount of money / standard of hotel. The staff were rude and unhelpful, made me feel like they didn’t want us there or didn’t want to be there themselves. Service with a smile goes a long way, and I didn’t see a single smile from any of the staff here.

The towels in the room aren’t great. The spa towels were, though. Some rooms are closer to the sea than others and it would be good to know which are which when booking

The new spa was the perfect place to unwind, offering a relaxing and rejuvenationg experiene. The staff was incredibly welcomung, and the restaurant served delicious food in a live music atmisphere. The rooftip party was a highlight. Lovely vibe. I cant wait ti return!

Wonderful

The resort was wonderful! Our stay goes very well, from the welcome given to us by the staff, who were ready to help at any time. The room was well organized and quite comfortable. The resort offered many facilities, which saved us a lot of time because we did not need to move from it. The part of the resort that I would highlight was the beach and the pool which offered an amazing view. Despite the fact that most of the beach and pool bars/reception were closed, the resort staff was very willing to help us with towels and other services that we wanted.The environment was very relaxing, clean and properly organized. If you want to spend your holidays in an environment with an amazing and relaxing view, I definitely recommend it.
