Best hotel in Vlorë

Favourite hotel in all of Albania that we stayed! Amazing location and the perfect view of sea and mountains. What’s not to love?! Definitely will be back here. Room was great, comfy bed, very clean, massive TV. Good shower. Breakfast was awesome and so much to choose from. Sweet and savoury too!

No coffee or tea in the room. The waiter took a long time at the evening meal to bring water to the table but the food was delicious. Overpriced wine and cocktails though but the view is probably factored into the price.

If you only care about the view and nothing else, go for it

The location is amazing, you can see beautiful sunset, the balcony are comfortable and you have access to the pool and the water. Breakfast is good But that's it.

The room ac doesn't really work well. The smell to the bathroom was something out of the world. It was nauseous and really dirty, with mold everywhere in the shower. Overall not clean at all. Found past pubes in the bed

Very disappointing! Dont stay here and just get a day pass instead

The pool area is pretty and the view is nice during sunset. The breakfast buffet had a good selection for vegetarian. Very cute cats on the property.

When we arrived the receptionist was rude and unhelpful. Our room was very dirty, used coffee pods left, rubbish in the shower and curtains falling off. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable we took turns sleeping on the sofa. We requested extra pillows (only one each provided) and were told they had no extras. They play very loud music in the bar until late at night, our room was shaking from the speakers so impossible to sleep. Only one toilet roll provided for the entire stay. Pool area, though pretty, was extremely overcrowded and the pool itself was tiny.

The most fabulous stay in Albania

This place is exceptional and feels private. We had a fabulous stay there and did not want to leave. The breakfast was the best we had in our stay in Albania, and the breakfast ladies were especially cheerful and sweet. We loved the turtles living on site and the entire vibe. We hope to come back. P.s. the parking offered there is great (don't believe the hateful reviews).

The glass wall bathroom, although sexy, but not totally comfortable. The shower also leaks on the toilet area. The balconies are not private, giving one no chance but to be in the company of the neighbours. Although it was a nice opportunity to socialise with the next door couple, the option for privacy is lost.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with gorgeous pool

Absolutely beautiful - the views are stunning, the staff (especially at the pool bar) were really friendly and breakfast was great.

The reception wasn’t very professional - we told them we needed to check out at 7am and no one was available. When we tried to find someone to help us they shut the door to the restaurant and were no help. Food at the restaurant in the evening wasn’t the best. Too many people on day passes at the pool

Scam

Pool, restaurant food, some of the staff

Room was different from what shown in the pictures. It was mouldy and dirty. It smelled damp and a sewage smell came out of the toilet every morning. It was also noisy especially around 7 am. Also there were no mosquito nets which made our nights even more uncomfortable. We complained but some of the staff were very unhelpful.

Beautiful place, poor cleanliness and insufficient service.

Great views from all rooms

Poor cleanliness. After complaints the manager sorted the problems out. But also sunbeds are insufficient available for hotel guests. Additionally being rented out to day guests. Elevator out of order, no assistance offered from reception, loud base all day since located above the pool bar. Last day we were charged with bills from previous guests of the room, which should not have been even brought up since they dated prior to our check in.

Beautiful hotel despite service below its potential.

Our stay was overall pleasant. The hotel boasts a magnificent view and a beautiful setting. The room itself was also lovely.

However, we were a bit surprised to find that cleaning was only carried out every 2 day, which is unusual for a 4-star hotel in our experience. In addition, the sheet provided was quite small for two people, and we also had to request additional toilet paper as there was none left in the bathroom. At our arrival we had been informed that there would be two evening events until midnight, but on the final night there was an additional, unplanned event that continued past midnight with lots of inconvenience noise.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The view of the sea was absolutely stunning, and the breakfast offered a great variety of choices. The staff were very friendly, and overall, the service was good. By the pool, the service was also excellent.

The only downside was the room cleaning service. On the first day, it was done well, but on the second day, there was no cleaning at all, despite us hanging the “Please clean the room” sign. On the third day, we had to request cleaning because we had run out of toilet paper and coffee capsules for the coffee machine, which are usually supplied daily. Even when we requested, we were told they had run out of toilet paper and were given napkins instead, and no coffee capsules were provided.

Poolside paradise on the sea

We came here after staying at the Inn Hotel and the difference is drastic. The pool area is amazing, they don’t have the beach seating that some places have but the cliffside cabanas are amazing and you can jump into the sea if the water is calm enough. The rooms were nice, the food and drinks were great and the girls working there are non stop. Definitely choose this over the Inn Hotel if you’re debating.

There are a lot of stairs so if you have a lot of luggage be ready for that but it’s beautiful.

Wonderful experience

The view!!! A Unique pool bar area with an infinity pool built suspended over the sea, friendly helpful staff, generous breakfast with Gluten Free toast, comfortable rooms.

Value for cost wasn’t good when comparing to other similar accomodation. eg Plush towels instead of thinner ones, water and fruit in the room, complimentary toiletry items for the bathroom and bath robes were missing.

The rooms were well maintained, clean and modern with good AC. Loved our balcony overlooking the sea which also allowed us to watch the sunset every night. Private beach was amazing and just what we wanted.

Hospitality wasn’t great, had issues with parking which took 40 minutes to sort when we just arrived and been driving for 3 hours, pool staff were reserving beds for people and keeping them on hold for hours for guests who weren’t by the poolside. Website said about arranging watersports then when we arrived the website came down and they told us there wasn’t any (we emailed twice to ask about this prior too) - breakfast wasn’t great, eggs were overcooked everyday and limited on hot options

Fantastic view hotel

The view and the location of the hotel are very good. The pool is fabulous, very instagrammable spot.

The staff didn’t seem to be very prepared and very attentive. Every morning was taking over 30 minutes only to get 2 espresso and 2 bottle of water. We didn’t have the room cleaned any day of our stay, first night we asked the lady to not clean it, as it was fine but to leave new towels which she didn’t and then the next days not sure why was not cleaned. Is not totally Adult hotel, as there were plenty of family with kids.

Glorious sunset, outside area & rooms; service needs a little work

View from the bedroom as amazing. the room was clean and nicely designed. The restaurant was lovely with nice food for dinner and the breakfast was fine too.

The welcome was a little frosty (but perhaps that's Albanian hospitality?). Parking was a bit of a pain (no directions of help from reception on arrival) - I wasn't very confident my car would be where I left it in the morning! (But it was)

Dont take a too big lugagge, as you need to carry it up and down the floors (didnt get help from staff). No water in the room. Room for 3p was much older then the new ones. Aircon not working properly.

The location and the view from the hotel are amazing, nothing to say on that part. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices. Swimming pool was close .

However, the tables and bar area look old and even rusted in some places. Check-in wasn’t smooth — we couldn’t do it electronically and still had to wait 20 minutes in front of the room for housekeeping to finish. The toilets also don't meet the standard you'd expect from a 4-star hotel.

Amazing location and the swimming made up for the DJ debacle. Huge potential

The noise of Saturday night DJ kept us awake until 1am. When I commented the next day to the manager he noted that they place us as far from the noise as possible (although I could still feel the bass beat through my pillow!) and he noted that they make it clear when booking..... yet the following is what is noted...Live Music is organized every Friday and Saturday from 31st May - 30th September from 20:00 - 00:00. We were there on 3rd May and the music went until 1am!!

The location on the water! Wow. To have such a view at such a fair price was amazing. The breakfast was fantastic, and the bar is such a great place to hangout with the view. Honestly we didn't even feel like going anywhere with how great this hotel was. It was also off-season, and that didn't matter. We loved that it was quieter and highly encourage people to also go when it's not the height of summer. Staff were wonderful. What a great time!

I returned to Liro Hotel for one simple reason – the view. It’s absolutely breathtaking and unlike anywhere else. Waking up to the sea right outside the window is pure magic. The hotel itself is cozy and clean, with friendly staff who make you feel welcome. If you’re visiting the area, this place is a hidden gem. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Guys do not bring heavy bags if you planning to book suit in this hotel :-)

We didn’t like the property cause our room was in down stairs so the elevator is not going to down stairs we just claim 2 of heavy luggage to down stairs and the same when we left we claim it up to elevator. But the stuff is so kind specially guy in reception help us a lot actually he should not help. So we like a stuff only.

Stunning setting, extraordinary potential, but in desperate need of an upgrade

Extraordinary potential! So many perfect things – unique cliff setting, stunning views, pool and draped pool beds, beach, terrace layout, large balcony with canopy, small but well-laid out room with tasteful décor. Honestly, one of the most magnificent sea views, swimming/snorkeling waters, and great sunsets you can find anywhere. You could spend hours on the balcony just taking it all in. Just that alone is worth going back to.

It’s worth no more than a 3-star rating. The room and bathroom floor should be upgraded to nice tiles. The bathroom needs serious 21st-century updating and better cleaning (the shower had black mildew stains). The water heater broke down on our last day and we had to take cold showers (and the staff seemed indifferent to that). The balcony fixtures were old and rusty. An elevator all the way down (instead of just to the lobby) would be nice but we understand that, due to the position on the cliff, that may be difficult. With a little upgrading and maintenance, and a little more attention to detail, this hotel would be a true gem.

It's the best place to stay in Albania!!

Location rules overall!!! The view was beyond anything. Having the hotel virtually on the sea was amazing. The swimming pool has a jumping platform into the sea that was so much fun. It is such a great set up that you literally don't have to leave the hotel for the entire duration of your stay. Breakfast was good too. Filled up nicely every morning. They accommodated and let us watch a Champions League game at the bar on one of the nights. We loved the hotel some much, we stayed there at the beginning of our trip and at the end.

We had booked twice, at 2 different times during our trip to Albania. Even though the price different was about 5 euros, they put us in an inferior room the second time around, which was much smaller and had a weird smell. It wasn't cleaned very well either, as we found hair all over the place, on the floor, in the bed, some trapped under the legs of the bed and the toilet smelt like pee. Literally felt like a different hotel - BUT management was very accommodating and changed our room, giving us the room we had the first time.

The BEST way to do Vlore and the Albanian Riviera.

It is a hotel built into the side of a cliff with amazing views, an amazing beach, and new extremely well equipped rooms with balconies. The layout feels more like an exclusive hideaway than a regular hotel. Fantastic on site food and drinks. We ate at 7 different highly recommended restaurants in Vlore, Hotel Liro's restaurant was the best meal we had here. All meals were excellent. Service from all staff is quite friendly, the manager even introduced himself and chatted to ensure our stay was perfect.

Best views in town and a unique hotel to stay in

I had booked this hotel for the last night of my stay in Albania and it wa steh best decision I could have made. All rooms face the sea and the views are unbeatable. The breakfast buffet offered everything one needed and although it also has a bar, restaurant, pool etc. the design of the hotel allows for a lot of privacy and you do not note the other guests much.

Nothing, highly recommend staying here.
