Disappointing … Avoid the area because of generator noise

We loved the breakfast & the breakfast team were super friendly & welcoming. Thank you ! Rooms were spacious & bed very comfy. BUT

We booked this hotel especially for the front line, to be in a quiet surrounding and not disturb by the road traffic. Good to know: only one side of the hotel is front line (breakfast, restaurant area, part of the bedrooms). but the rest of the building is overlooking another hotel. And worst, there is a constant generator sounds that is outside of the hotel and it’s just impossible to enjoy the room, not even tempting to open the windows. This generator is managed by the city and it’s literally ruining the hotel. Secondly, we had no warm water in our shower. We told the reception team about it, they seams pretty indifferent, blasé about it … and said they will “repair” it … wait 10 minutes. There was a small improvement. But same in the morning … no hot water … we complained at check out to the receptionist who was different than the night before told us we should have complain and they will have change us room etc … she was apologizing but no compensation were offered. Part of the room needed improvement (broken bin, broken shower curtain). We will not stay again and we vividly recommend you to choose another hotel.

Clear blue views from the sky to the sea. Beautiful sunset watching from the Jacuzzi.

Our room was exceptional. Loved the furniture, the bed was the most comfortable out of the hotels we stayed in Albania, and the balcony Jacuzzi was the icing on the cake! The staff were also all lovely, amazing to see albanians and Burmese working together!

Absolutely loved my first night in Albania at Miramare.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, beautiful Room, probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Beautiful bathroom, large shower. That was even a mini kitchen and hob. One thing I did find a bit crazy was that there is no first aid kit on site. Gorgeous hotel, the road that it’s on does get a bit congested going into the town but otherwise really enjoyed my stay here.

Perfect Hotel to visit and drink coffee with a view but over priced for what it is.

The view from the Hotel restaurant and outdoor dining area was exceptional and one of the main selling points of the hotel. The breakfast was also very nice, plenty of options and held between a good time frame. The staff were all very friendly, particular shout out to Jonny and Anisa who were informative, helped us book taxis and advised us on places to eat and drink. The Hotel owner and his family were all very lovely as well.

We had what felt like 'drawn the short straw' we knew we did not have a Sea view room, the room was advertised as 'back-view' but what it failed to mention was that this was a view of the car park and walkway into the hotel. For the majority of our holiday we were unable to be in our room without the curtains shut which meant we were in darkness a lot of the time as the lights were dim and if we wanted to get changed or get ready we had to keep them shut to avoid being exposed. The car park was also where all staff went to smoke, so we could see everyone smoking under our room and they could see us. Our room also lacked a decent amount of plug sockets, our European adapters wouldn't work, yet when we moved hotel they were perfectly fine elsewhere. Also, as a matter of Health & Safety, there was some loose metal covering a drain (not sure how to describe it) and when someone stood on one side of it, it lifted the other side and smacked me in the foot as it was not secure. I told the hotel as it nearly cut my foot open but it was not fixed even when i left and could have hurt someone. The food menu could have been more diverse, only Seafood and not much else and when we did ask for something they didnt have it so we ended up eating elsewhere every day.

Friendly atmosphere but as a guest felt it was operating more as a venue than a hotel.

Very clean rooms with amazing view in the bar/restaurant especially at sunset. The breakfast was okay and dinner was overall tasty and very generous portions. This hotel doesn’t have beach access but it’s a short 5 min drive to a lovely beach club called Vega that the receptionist suggested much cheaper than the closest option (hotel next door)

Staff were friendly but overall unhelpful. We booked an extra night and alerted them to this on arrival so there would be no issues with getting locked out of our room on the original check out date. This was not communicated and we were locked out anyway. Biggest issue was the loud private parties they hosted two nights in a row. There was no warning that the inside resturant would not be accessible for guests for dinner and no heads up or appreciation that guests were kept awake 2 nights in a row. When going downstairs to complain and ask how long the noise would be going no one was on reception.

When booking the hotel/booking.com did not indicate that it was an apartment/room across a busy road opposite the hotel with a grubby entrance and common area but the room was fine. This was misleading. This needs to be made clear on your site

Nice modern hotel with fantastic views!

This hotel is very modern and the outside bar area has a nice atmosphere. Location is about 5/10mins from Vlore and the main promenade with restaurants etc. The breakfast is excellent, good quality, plenty of choice for food. Great view too! Our room was modern, clean and spacious with a fantastic uninterrupted view of the sea, a real bonus!!

Parking can be an issue when the restaurant/bar area is busy (with non-hotel guests). There is no priority to hotel guests and we had issues on numerous occasions arriving or leaving the hotel with people double parked or no spaces available. Noise/Music from the bar can be heard in the rooms but not an issue after approx 11pm. There is alot of construction and road works on the way to and around the hotel which is not ideal but seems to be an issue in most of Albania.

Double check where your room is located..

The actual hotel is beautiful with stunning views.The staff were helpful and friendly and thats about it.

We booked the Deluxe triple room,thinking its in the main hotel,but when you get there you are told it's actually in their apartments across the road.Its not specified when you book the room.Its definitely false advertising as the apartments look completely different to the hotel.The room is comfortable however with no views only of on going building site.It didn't feel relatively safe,no main entrance, anyone could walk in,also there were no phones in case you needed to call the reception at the main hotel.I think if you are booking the rooms that are slightly pricier you are in the main hotel.

The sea view was beautiful,

The room we stayed in wasn’t attached to the main hotel building. We have to cross the road from the hotel to the building we stayed in. I find that a bit dangerous for safety measures, imagine crossing the road every morning simply just to have breakfast. And we stayed in for seven nights.

Staff at the restaurant were a bit rude and not helpful after asking them to come and get the order, by the way we waited at the table for 30 min and no one showed up to take the order and when the waiter came he was rude and not happy having to clean the table from the previous costumes

Good location and new facilities. Offered free live music in the night if our stay which was a bonus. Beautiful view from room.

The service wasn’t the best, low numbers of staff which meant slow service when ordering dinner or drinks. Breakfast was minimal and not the best quality. The team tried as much as they can but for the price you pay, the service doesn’t marry up.

The hotel is very modern - they must have recently renovated it. Our room was decently sized with a modern bathroom. The room was very clean. The breakfast buffet is located in the hotel restaurant, which offers beautiful views of the sea. However, go on the earlier side of breakfast because even though the breakfast goes til 11 am, they stop refreshing the offerings some time before 10:30 am.

The hotel bar plays live music at night. We could hear the music from our room. It wasn’t that big of a problem because the music stopped at midnight and we were there on a Saturday night. Just something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper and go to bed early.

Nice property, but some improvement areas

Nice and clean room with good sea view - AC worked well. Free on-site parking. Helpful receptionist.

Noisy room (music until 23.30 and you could hear every time a table was moved in the restaurant/breakfast room below which woke us up). Breakfast started at 8.30 (which I find to be a little late but that is a personal opinion of course), but real issue was that the breakfast buffet was not ready at that time and the staff kept bringing out stuff for an other 20 minutes and the whole thing was really chaotic. The table cloth in the breakfast room had burn marks too. Given the price range of the room, I think some improvements to the breakfast experience would be needed.
