Absolutely amazing time

We had an absolutely amazing time! The room was spacious and spotless, with great décor and very comfortable beds. I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Vlora Priam. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. The location is perfect—close to everything and with easy access to the beach and the city. The service was great, and everything was exactly as expected. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vlora.

Lovely hotel and views of the sea were amazing. The bed was so comfy and the bathroom was incredible with views to the sea. The rooftop pool was also a highlight.

It was a bit out of the way from Vlore, and with the buses finishing at 9pm it made it quite hard to visit. The breakfast could also have a bit of variety. The food was also cold most days.

I recently stayed at Hotel Priam Affiliated by Meliá in Vlora and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable, with spacious rooms and excellent service from the staff. Everyone I interacted with was professional, welcoming, and attentive, which made my stay very enjoyable. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and the restaurant offered quality dining options. The location is convenient for exploring Vlora, with easy access to restaurants and attractions. The only downside for me was that the beach is a bit farther from the hotel than I expected. However, the staff working at the beach were excellent, polite, and incredibly hardworking, which made the experience much more enjoyable. The water itself was absolutely stunning crystal clear and turquoise blue and I truly enjoyed swimming there. Overall, despite the distance to the beach, I was impressed by the comfort of the hotel, the professionalism of the staff, and the beauty of the sea. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Vlora.

Splendid beach views, mediocre service and facilities

The location, though inconvenient for reaching the centre of town due to the one-way traffic system, offered splendid views. The rooftop pool was a nice touch but the service was not. There is a partial beach view from rooms not located at the front of the hotel.

There was very little that was 5 star about this property other than the view from the front of the hotel. I arrived with a bouquet of flowers, but no one offered a vase or glass to keep them. When I called to ask for one later in the evening, the person at the desk rudely replied, "At this hour?" And then said that there was no one around at that time of day to get one. There were withered flowers on the tables in the breakfast room, which looked more like a school canteen than the breakfast room of a 5 star hotel. There was a general air of cost-cutting: no air-conditioning in the hallways, much smaller rooms than the other 5 star hotels we'd stayed in in Albania, and most astounding was being told that the air conditioning in the room was capricious and wouldn't be effective if the balcony door was open only to find that it didn't work at all but miraculously came on with the flip of a switch when we complained (both rooms were mysteriously affected) about the temperature after it became unbearable at night. We were not served during the hour or more we sat poolside on the rooftop despite ordering drinks.

- Reception staff were kind, helpful, and welcoming - Great location with an amazing sea view - Beautiful and stylish hotel design - Excellent, comfortable rooms - Pool was fantastic and well-maintained - Rooftop area was stunning - At lunch, the fish served as a personal plated dish was hot and well-prepared.

- Dining room staff were not friendly or attentive. One morning we asked for a dry omelet for our kids (they don’t eat soft/runny eggs), and the waitress responded rudely. She said “what’s on the buffet is what you get” and walked away 😵‍💫 - At dinner, the fish fillet at the buffet was served cold – not acceptable. I usually prefer buffet-style meals, but in this case the quality was lacking.

Go somewhere else!

Are you looking for a hotel where you can truly unwind? A place to relax, perhaps with a whirlpool and room service? Then definitely do not book at this hotel, as your expectations will absolutely not be met. An enormous restaurant menu of which only 2% is available, rooms that fail to live up to the expectations set by the photos, and cold water to shower with: this hotel has it all. But, to keep up appearances, you do receive a complimentary bottle of wine upon departure. Especially useful if you’re flying home that same day, of course.

A chic stay by the Albanian Riviera

Sea facing rooms and iconic lighting creating a vibrant look. Comfy beds. In room amenities and facilities. Complimentary breakfast buffet Pool Special mention about Efi at the reception who was kind enough to upgrade us to better rooms mid way through our stay at the resort.

The breakfast spread was elaborate but most of the savoury dishes were too salty. A 5 star resort should be able to deal with power outages.

Nothing. Most amenities weren’t open. Dayclub music played 24Hrs. They checked us into a used room. Then second room had medication from the previous occupants. There was hair everywhere, minibar was want replenished. Was the worst experience I’ve had in a very long time. I was supposed to stay 7 days and checked out after one

Enjoy a nice stay at Priam but don't expect a "Luxury 5 stars"

Very nice location at the south border of Vlore, in a district made of 4 hotels of high standing on the boardwalk and a beach club in front. Bedrooms have a stunning sea view and are of good size. Most of the personnel is overall quite young and nice, showing a good face of Albanian hospitality, doing their best to help, but probably lacking a bit of "professional hotel coaching". Rooms were clean and housekeeping always available at any time to refresh the room. Overall hotel is nice and pleasant, probably one of the nicest of Vlore when looking around.

Sorry to say that putting 5 stars on the hotel front or "luxury" is not enough. Hotel is certainly a good 4 stars but cannot be recognised as a 5 stars resort (I guess ANTA Albanian Tourism Agency have different local criteria's?). Seems a Manager commented that rooms are equipped as a 5 stars therefore can be qualified, don't act. We were in a "suite" and it was clearly missing tissues, bathrobes, space to put clothes for a week and only 6 hangers available in the closet. We had constantly to ask for new shower gel everyday, and toilet paper as only one roll in the room for a week. Moreover of the room amenities, a 5 stars hotel is made of several top services: Hotel has NO swimming pool (coming soon since 3 years...), no Spa (coming soon), no roof top bar as announced at the entrance (coming soon) and a car park for 6 cars where they put 12. They nicely provide you with a card to access some sundeck chairs on a beach 100 meters away from the hotel, but you will have to help yourself with finding a chair not in the (polluted) sea water or taking care of your towels. Alternative is to go to the beach club pool in front of the hotel. it will cost you 1000 Lenk per person (10 Eur) per day for a sundeck chair. Better coming early in the morning if you want a good location and prefer chairs with a parasol you can move around to obtain some shadow. Last but not least, you feel like at the "canteen" when you take breakfast in the morning. They only clean tables while everybody's away and the two girls managing the room have taken their own breakfast... So don't come late if you want a clean table and not eating in the middle of other's detritus. Orange juice (like all juices available) are filled in the machine with industrial bottle juices, yaourts are not in a fridge but at room temperature (like milk), no "hot chocolate", almost no choice of tea (and not in closed bags), no fruit salad.
