Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, clean and nicely styled. Location is good (not perfect but better than ok). View is wonderful and overall we had a very nice time.

Asked if we could pay with credit card in advance and received a positive answer. However, when we got there, issues with the bank/cc machine etc. occured and we were asked to pay cash. Room was nice but for this price we would like to see a more thought-through furnishing. There was no place to hang the large towels or bathing suites etc. The breakfast was - for this overall price - rather basic. Quality was ok though and staff was wonderful

A perfect stay

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Esbjerg! The location is perfect, right by the sea with spectacular views. The rooms were super clean, the staff was so friendly, and the food was amazing – especially the breakfast, which was both delicious and plentiful. I was there for my birthday, and the staff surprised me with a little celebration – they brought a cake to my table with candles and sang for me. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made my day unforgettable. Everything was exactly like the photos – we couldn’t have asked for more!

The hotel is generally good but the service was very bad

Spacious rooms, clean , nice sea view from the room A near by pool which was very nice for the kids ( not for the hotel so you have to pay)

We didn’t have hot water in the room for 2 days. We had to shower with very cold water, the manager couldn’t do anything about this problem, didn’t even try to make us feel better. We stayed in room 201 and the problem was in this floor. At breakfast if you ask for a second capuchino you have to pay extra money for it The beach of this hotel isn’t very good

Very happy with our stay at Esbjerg hotel and would recommend it!

We are a family of 5 (3 children). We would definitely recommend this hotel. It's clean, well maintained and features all necessary comfort for a fair price. The staff was extremely attentive, hospitable, familial and friendly. They kindly received us upon arrival late at night (2-3 AM) and made no fuss about it. Several staff members also regularly inquired if everything was to our satisfaction. The free breakfast was freshly served between 8h30-10h was an extensive buffet, sometimes changing some of the options to create some variation. We could get beach towels for free & washed at simple request to the reception desk (not allowed to use the white room towels because of the sand - nor would they wash ours, but they offered this as a free option). Since this year, this recent hotel is now also featuring in-house restaurant. The food at the restaurant was great offering mostly a selection of common Italian-style kitchen, largely based on sea-food and pasta. It was really nicely prepared and at an honest price, we would certainly recommend trying out the local restaurant services (aside from other businesses in the neighborhood like for example the exquisite Gjurma Sushi Bar at a few hundred meters across the street). The cleaning was done properly and on a daily basis, and cleaning staff was very attentive to replace items like towels add toilet-paper etc. as needed while trying to plan the cleaning when we were out of the room (e.g. while we were at the beach or eating in the restaurant). Hotel room photo's were really "as advertised". From the balcony of our room we were greeted by beautiful views of the Vlorë bay and a great sundown. Free beach-chairs are available on the other side of the street, but the local beach is not so children friendly (rocky and several meters deep). There is a swimming pool a bit further (but it is payable to another owner) and a white sand beach at about 10-15mins walking for those who prefer it.

All in all our main impression of the hotel and the staff was very positive, but we do have some general minor remarks - 2 of them are easy to resolve, the other are less obvious to solve and are location related: Easily Fixable: For some reason the airco in our room (201) didn't always start, I think might be due to the sliding window sensor of the window having a wire disconnected (we informed the staff so they could have a look at it). The hotel reception desk could however start it remotely on simple request by phone from our room. Payment in the restaurant currently is all cash, a Mastercard/VISA/Maestro terminal would be a nice thing in the restaurant (they have it for paying at the reception - so I'm a bit puzzled about it not being available for the restaurant bill). Less obvious: For the sea-view rooms, the SH8 street is one-way in this part and featured quite a bit of circulation-traffic at times. Unfortunately not all of the noise was blocked, by the (heavy noise blocking-type) windows. I.o.w. the Hotel invested in trying to block it out, but it is still clearly present. Visiting a more child-friendly sandy beach is (2*) a walk of 10-15 minutes but that can be a bit tedious with a bag of heavy beach-towels and drinks in the hot glaring sun. Additional info: A beach parasol with two seats generally costs the standard price of 1000LEK/10EUR per parasol (2 seats). We personally went to the part that was exploited by Hotel Britannia - the boys on that part of the beach were attentive and regularly came around to collect garbage (there are trashcans present every 5 meters or so), they also put sun covers on the parasols and move them for you when you want it (following the sun's rotation) etc.

Perfect experience from start to finish

We had a truly wonderful stay. The staff went above and beyond from the start, even upgrading us to a beautiful suite, which made our experience extra special. Everyone was incredibly polite, attentive, and thoughtful—always making sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. The view was stunning, and the whole atmosphere was warm and relaxing. It’s the little thoughtful touches that made all the difference. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Wonderful

The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful coasts in Albania, and the view is amazing. I've never experienced a sunrise and sunset more beautiful than there. Spacious and clean room, helpful staff, quiet and relaxing place to stay. The promenade is just in front of it, so it is a big plus.

Nice hotel really enjoyed it

The location is good .. staff are welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast is good nice variety. Available parking in front of the hotel. You can access the beach and the pool free of charge and they provide towels.

The pool and the beach are across the street. There are sun lounges and umbrellas but the beach is not sandy its actually stairs and you have to jump in. Wifi is poor. Lost the hot water for a while they said that they are working in the area and trying to repair it

Delightfully peaceful and relaxing.

I stayed there in June of 2023, while the restaurant was being finished. To accommodate their guests, Esbjerg arranged to offer breakfast at a restaurant next door. It was excellent. Staff at both places was exceptionally thoughtful and friendly.

Honestly, I loved it. Some may have preferred access to the sandy beach to be a little closer, but it was better to have a short walk to and from the busy beach front. Made the rooms quieter.

Very good

First of all, the Room was really nice! Super spacious, really nicely decorated and the Bathroom was really cool with the huge Glasfront. Also the View from the Balcony was pretty nice. The Staff really tried there best to make our Stay as good as possible. But you should know that the Place is still under Construction. Breakfast is in another Place (Coffee not included!!) and was just okay.. Nothing Special (the Lady there was super nice though) There was also a huge Construction Site directly in front of the Hotel, which is why we didn't use our Balcony. We were also the only Guests in the Hotel (middle of May)...that felt a little weird at some Points 🙈. All in all we were happy with the Place but we expected a bit more for the Price.

Séjour déçevant

Nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour sa vue mer depuis les chambres mais nous avons été déçus à notre arrivée ... Sinon la chambre était spacieuse.

Nous nous sommes basés sur les avis d'autres voyayeurs mais la réalité était toute autre. Plusieurs points négatifs : cheveux des précédents occupants, vue mer gâchée par la pollution, rideaux non occultants, mauvaise insonorisation, frigo bruyant. Et pour finir, le petit-déjeuner était déçevant. Il y avait certes du choix mais la qualité n'était pas au rendez-vous.

En oförglömlig vistelse med bästa läge, fantastisk service och total trivsel från början till slut.

Fantastiskt läge, rymligt och välstädat rum med underbar havsutsikt. Otroligt trevlig och hjälpsam personal samt jättegod och varierad frukost. Allt kändes genomtänkt och professionellt – jag trivdes från första stund!

Hotellet har ingen egen pool, men det finns pooler i närheten mot betalning. Personligen föredrog jag ändå det fantastiska havet, så det var inget större minus för mig.
