Magpie 4 Hot Tub Huntersmoon-Warminster-Bath-Salisbury

Easy to find, directions were sent to us prior to arrival and the site was easy enough to navigate through. Everything was provided inside the lodge - towels, bedding, basic kitchen essentials, soap, toilet roll, washing up liquid etc. The site is located minutes away from Warminster town centre itself, but it is secluded and surrounded by trees and water. We have seen many different animals around, including otters and herons. We travelled with our dog, and found the enclosed space secure for our peace of mind. There were poo bags and dog treats waiting for us on arrival, that was a nice thoughtful touch. The lodge was large and comfortable, there was plenty of space for all 3 of us without sitting on top of each other. We had a large corner sofa in the lounge area and a table with 2 chairs. Hot tub was on and warmed up for us on arrival - that was excellent. The only reason I am scoring less for was the mattress/bed - it was very very soft and not to our liking at all. I did like the fact that 2 types of pillows were available - firm and soft. We also had an issue with hot water at one point, but it was addressed promptly. Soundproofing on these cabins is not great so if your neighbours sit in the hot tub till late at night talking over jets you will definitely hear it. The lodges are detached from each other tho so everyday noises are not a bother at all.

Bed was too soft for our liking (personal preference) and noisy neighbours!

De ligging is geweldig. Heerlijk rustig. Een erg leuk en knus huisje met alles wat je nodig hebt. De badkamer is prima en ook de keuken. De tuin was ook erg leuk met een lounge set en een schommelstoel. Ook de hottub was een erg leuke toevoeging.

Helaas viel het bed me tegen. Voelde de veren in me rug staan...Ook vrij stoffig in de slaapkamer.

Amazing venue on the lake had a cosy interior in keeping with the feel of the lodge mixed with the modern kitchen and bathroom. Bed was very comfortable and lots of room for my 6'2 partner. Hot tub was ready to go so we were able to take a dip and relax from our journey there. Nothing bad to say and we had the best time, will definitely be back.

Only think I can think of is the 10am departure time, although understandable even if it was 11am it would feel a little more substantial on our stay time factor.

It was set in a beautiful area. and the lodge was the right size for us. There were towels and t towel provided along with washing up soap and cloth and sponge.

The lodge was dated. the toilet roll holder was broken and didn’t hold a roll anymore. The shower, although looked lush, was terrible to control. it was either scalding hot or freezing cold. This was due to the dial being really tight to move. There was scale on the shower dial and the kitchen sink was not too clean either . Needed a good scrub. The most upsetting for myself though was the hot tub. After getting into it I felt something hard on my foot as I sat down. When I reached in to see what it was I found it to be a large piece of clear glass. I then felt around to see if there was anymore and there were, including splinters of glass. after this we didn’t feel safe using the hot tub anymore.
