Ideal little getaway

What a fabulous little haven of peace. Beautiful location. Plenty of wildlife. Lodge had everything you needed. Great to be able to park right outside the lodge. Very tranquil and was so fortunate to have lovely weather. The stay was even better with the hot tub so if you want a quiet little get away, this place is ideal. Will definitely come again.

Comfortable stay for the fair value

Location is great, hot tub was ready to be used as we arrived, all functional and prepared for us. Great size kitchen and bathroom, tv with WiFi, working heating and enough towels supplied for a weekend stay. Ducks, geese and swans were coming over and staying at the corner of the pond which made it feel very close to the nature.

The shower base was not tall enough and water was overflowing on the floor. Also all the windows were locked and were not able to be opened.

Property could do with a little TLC outside as area by hot tub was overgrown and needs paiting and some instructions needed regarding using cooker.

The lodge is so comfy and has everything you could need! We loved the facilities in the lodge. Such a lovely stay, the hot tub and the surroundings made it even better

Absolutely beautiful!!!

Absolutely amazing !! The photos don’t do the place justice, the area and the view from our room and hot tub was just amazing. It’s such a central location and with there being Parking next to each lodge it made it so easy to go out for the day. Another amazing feature was the smart TV, was so handy for nights in. The kitchen was also an amazing bonus , so clean and has everything you need in there for you.

There is nothing we didn’t like, just a bit of info for the owners; the shower screen isn’t long enough so the shower often flooded. However, it was nothing that impacted our stay:)

Disappointing and not luxury as name suggests

Located at end of housing estate was strange but site looked over pond with ducks was nice and parking easy Clearly previous poor reviews had resulted in improved the kitchen area

Pillow far too thin and poor quality on bed Overall cleanliness was poor with dog hair in bathroom from previous guests and lots of cobwebs by front door and scratches on table tops Fridge door dirty Very strong smell of chemicals in hot tub put me off using it and area around needs a sweep Definitely not a luxury lodge Flower beds by hot tub need attention

Quiet, secluded, on site pub was lovely! Nice for a few nights break away. Hot tub was clean.

Cobwebs in the corners of the rooms, lack of cooking equipment, shower was clean but thermostat was broken so water was boiling hot at all times. No presence of staff so sometimes a little challenging to speak to anyone about issues however contact number left for emergencies. Would say be prepared for a fully self catering lodge, take ALL supplies ie toilet roll, cooking utensils and towels if staying a few nights
