Lovely location, peaceful and the lodge was lovely. Hot tub was fab and thoughtfully left the lights on for us when we arrived.

Pleasant stay in a lovely location near enough to town

Quiet peaceful location surrounded by water, trees and birds just as we like. The jacuzzi was a great part of the stay.

The TV was difficult to operate when we just wanted normal terrestrial TV and radio.

Lovely tranquil natural location, pleasant and comfortable lodges and great hot tub.

Lovely natural location with tranquil ponds and woodland nearby, footpaths and great setting for the lodge. It was on its own in the corner of the plot and not overlooked which was nice. Great hot tub which we used every day, and decking area. Lodge was clean and well equipped. Parking space next to lodge. Location close to lots of pubs and restaurants, Warminster and lots of other sights and places to visit.

The room glade type air freshener in the sitting room made it smell a bit sweet, maybe a more neutral one would be better.

Disappointing, what a smell!

Location, hot tub, nice bedding, comfy bed

Absolutely stank, the smell was so bad we didn't even want to eat in there but occasionally we had to, very dirty carpets, lots of dust and cobwebs behind light fittings, no chopping board and very dirty plates (stained and with a film over them, had to wash everything up), felt grubby leaving there. Such a shame, could have been perfect if more attention to detail has been done, bathroom needs some serious tlc. But could have maybe coped with stuff but the smell was off the scale, damp smell in the bathroom and overall lodge smelt like a bad pub carpet/dog smell.

Beautiful place to stay, lodge exceptional, surroundings amazing, easy access to tourist spots

The lodge was amazing, far exceeding my expectations. It was situated in a lovely position amongst the trees and next to a lake. The hot tube was amazing. It is very easy access to surrounding areas for activities, sight seeing, etc. Will definitely recommend and will definitely be going back for another stay soon.

The lodge was relaxing and we did have a lovely time

staying in Magpie 3 was very relaxing and seemed secluded which was lovely. The lodge seemed clean and presentable and we had an great stay overall

Unfortunately, while I know this place is self catering, I sort of expected there to at least be some hand soap and a cloth to wash the dishes, and more than half a roll of toilet paper. If you are looking to stay at the lodges then these are things you will have to bring yourself which we weren’t aware of at the time Also, we had booked to eat at the restaurant on the company website however, when we arrived, there was an event going on. The staff were lovely and helpful however, I would recommend popping down or calling ahead before booking a table to ensure the venue is available

Underwhelming

The location is brilliant and the restaurant on site was nice.

The hot tub was cold. There weren’t any instructions on how to warm it up and there was no interaction at all with staff so didn’t know how to ask. There was an issue with a drainpipe which kept everyone awake when it rained.

Good

Hot tub was a hit with the kids! It was warm and filled when we arrived so the kids could go straight in! Towels included in the room were a nice touch too with washing up liquid, sponge and tea towel. Checking in was really easy, as was checking out. Great location for Longleat Safari Park. The lake looked nice but we didn't have time to make the most of the surroundings as we didn't have long and the weather was raining.

The property does need some updating, couldn't get hot water in the kitchen, shower door leaked water over the floor, no toilet paper when we arrived too. The shower didn't work on both settings and some handsoap in the bathroom would be good. WiFi didn't really work which wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't advertised as I could do without.

Superb

Nice peaceful and quiet location. Hot-Tub and quite secluded deck was great. Great base for visiting nearby attractions.

This may have been a result of being out of season, but there did not appear to be any clothes washing facilities. Additionally, a note about how long the hot-tub takes to heat if switch off would great.

Very good

The kitchen and contents were new and excellent. The hot tub was a real hit with our grandchildren. The location was excellent for visiting Longleat. Our Lodge, Magpie 3 was very private and secluded. Lovely to see the ducks and geese.

Bed was comfy but very small. The cigarette disposal unit was smelly and full when we arrived ( maybe an oversight?), clean outside under the mat. The kitchen and bathroom were clean. Replace light pulls in the bathroom. Clothes from former guests left in the bathroom. Name spelt wrong on board on check in.

Location (local facilities-Morrisons and leisure centre).

Old lodge with secondhand furniture and leaking (see attached photo) tepid hot tub. No attention to cleaning - found condom left under bedroom (see attached photo)

Amazing trip with my wife and son

It was so homely , was easy for my boy to settle into and enjoy himself. Had amazing walks for us to do in such close vicinity. And all in all a great trip in a great place. Everything was clean! Will be staying again very soon

Chilled out Easter Holiday break

Rural setting, next to the pools and river. Great for dog walking. Quiet - no road noise. The food at 'The Lodge' bar and restaurant was excellent. Friendly staff.

Lodge was dog friendly, comfortable, tucked away and very clean on arrival. Communication was great. Will book again definitely :)

A bit random but the hot tub didn't have lights.. or at least none that I could turn on.
