Perfect cabin stay away

We love coming here, it’s so serene and the perfect weekend getaway.

There was some slight mould in the shower and it overfills easily, however that would be my only concern.

This is such an amazing boutique lodge getaway. The beds are extremely comfortable, facilities are great and the hot tub is an extra bonus!

property was clean and very well kept. Towels were available on arrival

Good but I feel that’s just because of the hot tub.

The hot-tub and bedroom were exceptional, along with the kitchen set up and utensils provided.

when we arrived there was no one on the site to greet us, just a confusing out of date whiteboard telling us where to find the keys to our lodge, to then find our lodge completely unlocked and keys inside on kitchen table. I thought I would have been provided with WiFi for my stay away, I messaged the site manager for a password to it and never received one until I had checked out. Later on in my nights stay after using the hot tub being covered in chlorine we found out that our shower did nothing but provide scalding water. Again I messaged and called the site manager to get it sorted or my room changed and I received no answer until I had checked out. Then the next morning packing up slowly knowing I have to be out by 10, we were hoping to catch someone and no one came, apart from a little girl who just randomly ran in my lodge looked around said hello and ran off, we then found out the little girl was the site managers daughter, utterly unimpressed pressed with the lack of professionalism. the site manager had no answer for any of my problems blamed it all on booking.con and told me it was all your fault and problem and I’d have to speak to them.

Peaceful relaxing and awesome

The location was great felt like you were in the middle of now where but we were less that a mile from he town centre walked it in 15mins. We over looked the lake. Oh and the private hot tub was awesome. Can't wait to go back.

Great little break away!

Loved the LaZSpa hottub, but I think that was the only "luxury" thing there. Loved how the bedroom was decorated and the clean bathroom. Loved the location.

Not a dislike but we didn't meet any staff, so can't comment on that (the keys were at the lodge so no need to check in as such and had all we needed so no need to call on anyone).
