I felt very comfortable and safe during my stay and do recommend it.

I found the place very cozy and quite charming. The ground level was open but allowed privacy. The upstairs was comfortable and warm with plenty of light from the window. Towels and other conveniences were provided. The whole place was clean and well maintained. I liked my whole stay there especially as a young woman travelling solo.

Not much. My only mildly inconvenience was the sloped ceiling on the upper floor since I banged my head once. (Whoops) but that was it.

Excellent comfortable accommodation

Plenty of space to spread out, 2 bathrooms, very comfortable bed, very well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities for a 5 night stay and plenty of easy parking on-site. Modern with plenty of light. Nicky and Rob were lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful

Location was perfect. The little touches were fantastic such as milk and jam in the fridge and a baguette.

My husband is tall so the eves in the bedroom were a challenge but nothing which would stop us booking again.

A pleasant west country property with everything you need for a short stay.

Located 20 mins walk from town centre, and walking in the beautiful Longleat Forest. Easy access and parking. Good facilities. Private courtyard. Tea, coffee, and milk provided on arrival.

Low/sloping ceilings in the bedroom awkward for tall people. High tech oven was great but a bit beyond me to operate.

A super relaxing stay in luxurious accomodation!

This is an exceptional, luxury property - it exceeded all our expectations! Super clean and comfortable - the bed especially was very comfortable, had the best night's sleep. Great location, great parking and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. There is a lovely play area for children just 2 minutes walk away across the road.

Very nice, but.

Lots. Location, size, heating, cleanliness. Very modern, showers excellent. Car parked next to accommodation.

The lounge looked very clean and modern but very uncomfortable to sit in. Sofa bed and chairs only ok for a few minutes. Sinks not suitable for shaving. Water not hot enough and sinks not big enough. Must mention sloping ceilings upstairs. WiFi poor, couldn't access any of my apps.

It was ideal for a two night stay.

Modern and clean. off road and quiet. The kitchen space is ok. The showers are lovely. The bed is large and very comfortable.

The bathroom upstairs and the bedroom are limited for height as they are in the roof-space. The bathroom sinks are very small.

We visited Longleat Safari and it was the perfect location for us. Nice, cosy and well equipped for a short stay.

Wonderful modern clean place to stay.

The living space was lovely, clean and modern. The kitchen was well equipped too. Parking space allocated to guests too and a private patio too. Very helpful host who shared local knowledge for a meal out which we loved. Great place to stay.

The bathrooms were small, upstairs one very low head room, not so good for those who are 6ft tall. Didn’t know what to recycle and how to use the hob, instruction info would be useful for future guests.

A gem of a find, perfect home from home for a stay. Would highly recommend.

Kings Annexe is a newish detached 1 bedroom building in keeping with the owner's bungalow. It's approached via gravel drive offering good parking. The Annexe is a newish very modern little detached building approached via a little courtyard to the rear. Downstairs there is an open plan well equipped kitchen breakfast area and lounge. Hidden behind a wood panel wall are 2 doors, one to a shower room, and the other with a washing machine and microwave. Upstairs is a small bathroom and a sloped roof bedroom with a king-size bed which is heavenly with good quality Bedding. A continental breakfast was left which consisted of Croissants, a selection of cereals, orange juice and cookie-type biscuits.

I would appear very picky if I said there was anything I 'didn't like'. I think that possibly the only thing I would have liked to see, was a Lamp somewhere in the Lounge area, as there was only the option of 2 bright sets of lights, BUT this in no way affected the enjoyment of my stay.

A perfect choice for a self contained getaway. The standard and cleanliness of the ‘lodge’ were excellent. Well maintained with everything that we needed. 100% recommended.
