Relaxing, comfortable and homely. Loved it.
The cottage was in a quiet, peaceful location and easy to find. The furnishings and decor were very nice and the cottage was comfortable and relaxing. I would highly recommend this and Maddy is a great host.

Beautiful property
Beautiful little cottage, cosy with everything you need there, beds were so comfy, i could happily stay there longer. Host was great with messages of information about local places to go and eat. Host has a book at the cottage with everything you need to know. Location fantastic (so close to longleat) and village/town close by. Would definitely recommend 👌

Really enjoyed it - would come again!
The location was beautiful, very peaceful and quiet. The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable, and we really appreciated having Sky TV. Although we didn't use it, the possibility of having a log fire is a welcome bonus. Being February, we didn't use the garden, but could see how lovely that would be in warmer weather. There is no village shop, but it was very convenient to eat at the pub/restaurant across the road on our last night.
We struggled to get the hang of the heating thermostats - didn't immediately discover the packet with instructions as it was at the bottom of the pile of excursion flyers, so instructions in the info. booklet would be helpful. The very low hanging ceiling lights were a bit hazardous.

This was a cosy cottage in a lovely village full of birdsong.
The cottage was in a quiet village yet very close to other facilities. We were visiting Longleat and it was a perfect distance from there. It was clean and cosy as described. We are two friends so not looking for romantic! The outside area was cool and sheltered. The garden looked cool and inviting but we were not in the cottage long enough to use it
We were there during a heatwave (over which Maddy, our host, had no control) so the cosy, furry covers on the sofas added to the heat as did the small cottage windows. A fan or two would have been useful.
