nice little break away with the wife.

Overall it was ok, the place was a little dated and could do with a little tlc, attention to detail like light bulb , lampshade all bashed, great roof lights built in above the bed but no switch. the hot tub was ok however the cover was extremely heavy and very hard to lift off and back on,

it was ok, I'm glad we didn't pay more than we did. the place just needs a little tlc, trying to get the hot tub cover back on,

A little gem in a beautiful setting! Book as you will not be disappointed.

Lovely cabin in a quiet tranquil location. It was cosy and the hot tub was lovely. The grounds were spotless and the cabin was clean and fresh.

The pipe wasn’t connected under the sink which we fixed and the tv signal was poor however, this did not affect our stay as it was so lovely!

Lovely location, everywhere looked clean

That we got eaten alive by bed bugs/fleas and there was scum in the hot tub. Paid so much money for just 2 nights and now we are covered in bite scabs!!!

Exactly the relaxing break from reality I needed.

Beautiful lodge, private, comfortable mostly. Clean, easy to find and no need to talk to anyone if no need too. Hot tub amazing.

The bed was very squeaky and I didn’t feel safe at times, the shower pressure was really weak on both shower heads.

Little gem in Warminister.

The hot tub was amazing, our stay was good, the bed was very comfortable, and we had two excellent nights sleep. The location was brilliant for visiting National Trust properties in the area.

The outside of the lodge looked tired, and in need of attention. No step for gaining access into the Hot tub.

Horrific

It was nothing like the picture , there was all mould around hot top , it looked horrible the taps in bathroom and kitchen didn’t work properly the cooker we couldn’t use as the signs rubbed of to see what we was doing

The location was fab, we came for a visit to longleat safari park so perfect location.

We could have done with more towels, especially with using hot tub.

Slightly overpriced, but was cosy and quiet, hot tub is a good feature, not worth it without it

Once heating was on it got very warm! making it lovely and cosy! It was nice and quiet, very relaxing. The grounds and lake was a lovely view. Nice parking onsite next to your cabin. Very private hot-tub, enclosed and nice experience. Basic essentials provided, nice and easy stay, it was worth the price for a 2 night stay. Basic necessities provided.

Heating & Hot Water did not work to begin with, we turned the boiler on and off and this resolved the issue. The big shower head was really noisy so we just used the smaller attachment. Dusty under bed, and we took the cushions off the sofa to check nothing fell down before we left, we found a butter knife and bits off food in the cracks. The restaurant on site looked lovely so we went to go and eat, however was told by another guest in the restaurant that it was actually shut for a private wedding reception. This was not a problem however we was not aware of this, that it would be shut for a private function. We were told the keys would be in the door, however they were inside the property, eventually we realized this so this was quickly resolved. It was a nice stay but would not be worth it without the hot tub, it could definitely be luxury with some attention to detail

The description says its at Longleat, it's actally 10 minutes away by car. There was no heating or hot water when we arrived, it was rectified the following day.

We loved the hot tub and the decor in the cabin. We also loved that it was really quiet and peaceful at all times during our stay. We will definitely be back again :)

Lovely location, personal hot tub to use. All the facilities you need. We would come back.

The bed was very soft. Being used to a memory foam mattress we found it uncomfortable.

Peace, comfort and relaxation in a perfect location

Really quiet and quiet peaceful setting, felt like the only people there as it was so private and quiet. Lodges we’re lovely and homely, clean, and comfortable, Hot tub was private and amazing!! Location was excellent!!

Nice but needs some TLC

Super quiet and peaceful location, hot tub was great and feels private. Lake is nice for a little stroll. Bed was comfy enough. Keys are left in the lodge door on arrival (I was slightly before check-in time and could get straight in). Each plot has a parking space.

Bathroom blind is broken and the window faces parking space of another property, would have liked the extra privacy, especially as it’s been mentioned quite a few times now in the reviews. Property is not the cleanest, the windows really need a good wipe. Shower leaks when it’s on full, sprays over the top of the screen onto the toilet. Kitchen was lacking, e.g. no bottle opener, not much cutlery, oven symbols have rubbed off etc.

Bed was a little too soft , most people have memory foam mattress now , maybe a nice upgrade/ improvement Hot tub had too much chlorine in it , shower needs looking at , I'm not the only person too mention it

It was clean and cosy Very hot showers, nice layout , Thing which grew on us...the ducks(or whatever it was)come to stay on the lake every afternoon /evening and at night they are the loudest things ever, no jokeing lol

The hot tub has all the view blocked so you can not see the little lake,you can not see anything, the cottages are very close to each other and at night gets noisy when people come back from the bar and walk past, also people drive past quite fast and often

Amazing lodge and location, will definitely recommend to others.

The only one issue was the shower in otter 1, I think the thermostat valve on the shower was broken or mixer valve. The water was stuck at boiling temperature most of the time whilst trying to shower. Might need seeing too by a plumber. Apart from that small thing the whole experience was perfect.

Easy to find cabin. Good instructions and info inside cabin. Lovely restaurant on site. Hot tub was awesome with great privacy. Cabin was lovely too.

Shower temp could only be adjusted by altering boiler control. Not ideal, but at least we were given a work around once we enquired.

No garden table, step into cabin was a trip hazard. Where the hot tub is the paneling needs painting. Not great to look at from the hot tub.
