We liked the character of the accommodation and the position by the lake.

Lovely, comfortable, clean. A perfect getaway.

Lovely, comfortable, clean accomodation. Hot tub great. The Lodge restaurant is a fabulous bonus and serves amazingly good food.

Only complaint would be heating not on for our arrival on a freezing cold November evening!

The rustic cabin feel, decor and location where brilliant! Lakeside and plenty to do in the surrounding area.

scenic outlook, good location for touring, good size kitchen

beautiful location, lovely and warm lodge, good size hot tub

our drains were blocked on arrival so unable to shower/wash dishes. we were offered another lodge but it was cold as it had been empty and we were unpacked with our meal in the oven, this was sorted the following day

Lovely and tranquil. Fab location easy to visit bay and Stonehenge. Great bar and restaurant on site with lovely staff. Great hot tub!

Great Stay

We found the lodge to be absolutely lovely, comfortable bed,brilliant shower, kitchen had everything you need and the sitting area was cute & comfortable. The outside & lake was gorgeous. We was lucky to have great weather to go with so we could enjoy it more. The hot tub was nice & relaxing. The bar & restaurant on site was also fantastic with delicious food at a reasonable price. My only regret is we didn’t book another night 🥲

The only think I can think off but wasn’t a problem is that I think it was misleading about how close the lodges were together.

A little disappointed…

Location was ok, although noisy in the evening with noisy drunk youngsters in early hours of morning.

For the price and being sold as luxury, it lacked some basic things. No bathroom shelf, extra pillows, dustpan and broom, outdoor seating poor, cheap plastic seats and no table. The bench needs repainting as peeling off and not suitable for use.

Very good

The wildlife around the lake was lovely, feeding the ducklings in the morning. The view of the lake and the local pub was spot on.

No shelf in the bathroom to put your wash kit. Picnic bench but no chairs on the veranda. We went and bought some camping chairs.

EIn wunderbarer idylischer Ort zum Relaxen

Die Unterkunft hat wie beschrieben auf uns gewartet. Die Ankunft war flexibel, die Schlüssel lagen auf der Veranda bereit. Der Whirlpool war frisch herrgerichtet und aufgewärmt. Die Anlage ist nett angerichtet und war sehr idylisch.

Wir hatten das Haus direkt neben dem Lager und als wir am Nachmittag im Whirlpool relaxen wollten, war es leider sehr umtriebig durch die Mitarbeiter. Dies war aber nur ein sehr kleiner Wermutstropfen- immerhin haben wir uns auch über die wunderbar vorbereitete Wohnung gefreut, also gönnen wir es auch den anderen Gästen.
