Good visit

Loved the location on the lake, the hot tub was great and the accommodation was super cozy. Well equipped kitchen too

Only small things, mainly cleanliness unfortunately. There was mould all around the window above the beds headboard and the sofa very clearly hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests as there were still food crumbs/liquid stains on there. The front door the the accommodation also needs some more screws putting in the handle as there was only 1 screw holding the handle in place !! Also be aware entrance to parking is very very tight if you stay in otter 4 lodge

Lovely tranquil place

Tranquil, lovely picturesque place. Hot tub fab. View from our lodge was beautiful. Nice to relax after our days of exploring Bath, Wells and Salisbury. WiFi perfect. Facilities in the lodge were good. 😊

We had booked lodge Otter 4, however had an email on the morning of our trip prior to us setting off to say that they have had to move us to another lodge as the plumbing was affected in Otter 4. We booked Otter 4 as it was more private and views of the lake from the hot tub and hot tub was partially covered. We were moved to Beaver 1 lodge, which was a lovely spacious lodge, but the hot tub was enclosed by a fence, however, still a lovely view of the lake from the lodge. Overall we had a lovely break. The shower room could do with an upgrade, but everything was in good working order, so no complaints. Make sure you bring spare towels for hot tub, spare toilet rolls, and fly spray as the pond/lake attracts lots of midges. Also booked this as there was a pub/restaurant on site, however, it was closed...

A little home from home

It was so peaceful we stayed in otter 4 which looks out onto the beautiful large pond with so much wild life around and a few geese sat in the evening in the hot tub looking out hearing the birds open sky bliss

Gorgeous, spacious property Exceptionally clean and met our expectations Hot tub was gorgeous, along with the views of the pond and stars

The mattress and chaise lounge was broken, I reported this to staff, in which staff quickly rectified by ordering and showing me proof of the items they’d purchased

Disappointed and feel let down for the price.

Location was good, hot tub was nice.

No plastic glasses despite me calling in advance to request. Could not get any hot water all weekend. Cigarette ash on the decking when we arrived. Patio chairs were broken (slanted). Run down and tired property, e.g. hole in sofa, mismatched and random cups, plates and glasses.

The surroundings were fanatic watching the wild life etc . Charlotte was absolutely brilliant , very helpful and such a lovely person . Definitely go to the lodge for food the food was fantastic .

Negative point, after the shower we noticed a water leak in the kitchen floor and also from the loo with dark water leaking on the bathroom floor. * No under bed lights.

We did have a lovely stay at the lodge and with the added bonus of the hot tub which was great.

The location of the property was perfect for visiting Bath, Longleat and Street

The window in the bathroom of the lodge had dropped down allowing cold air into the bathroom, There was no heating on when we arrived and this took several hours to warm the lodge up. This needed to be put on at least an hour before arrival as I gave a time of between 1pm to 2pm for arrival.

not what I was expecting

it was on the river was a good location.

the door didn’t lock the whole time we were there. staff didn’t help us out at all, all we got was we are 25 minutes away so we can’t do nothing. there was a group of 4 next door to us who kept us up all night shouting and playing music, even a fight broke out on sight we rang expecting something to be done and all we got was ‘theirs nothing I can do’ we didn’t have lights under the bed and on arrival i requested Prosecco and chocolate which I paid extra for and that also wasn’t there. It was a special birthday for my partner, it was certainly not cheap either. I have never left a review in my life but this was a huge disappointment
