The staff were super efficient and friendly The room was clean. Excellent location for local wedding venue.

The bed was small and uncomfortable The bathroom was a in need of renovation and the toilet was a saniflow, so noisy.

Lovely staff, nice sized room and comfortable

Location was great staff were great and the pub was open all day which is rare as most pubs seem to shut down Mondays and Tuesdays

I think you should be informed about stairs they are a bit difficult to manage which we didn't mind but some more elderly persons would find it difficult to get up the stairs

The charm of an old 15th century building was lovely, it was a great location to the venue we were staying at.

The cleaner was rude and disrespectful, she came into the breakfast/dining area, shouted out some room numbers and insisted we leave our breakfast to ‘check out now, it’s gone 10am!!’ (It was a couple of minutes past ten, we had a family member with disabilities who had mobility issues and were helping them at that time so our breakfast (also not the best) was finishing a few minutes late. The cleaner could not be in 3 rooms at once so could have been, More polite Said please and thank you Suggested kindly that as it was past check out, could we please gather our belongings asap. Said, I’ll be in room …. Could I please ask you remove your belongings by 10:15 to allow me access to clean. Awful woman to say what she did in a full dining room! Also to add, we vacated the bar area at around midnight, however, staff carried on drinking and loud music was audible until 0145am! I would like a partial refund for no sleep and inconsiderate staff, as well as the ill mannered cleaner.
