Great location, just a 10-minute walk from Les Halles, and steps from all of the restaurants, cafes, and patisseries of Rue Montorgueil. The Sentier and Strasbourg-St. Denis Metro stops are also very close, which makes it easy to take transit if you don't want to walk to some of the major attractions (like the Eiffel Tower). The staff at the agency were friendly, helpful and responsive. The welcome basket was a nice touch. It was easy to be in touch with them via WhatsApp. The agency was located close to the apartment, so picking up and dropping off the keys was easy. The apartment is traditionally Parisian, which means small, no air conditioning and with lots of stairs, but we knew this going in, so it wasn't a huge issue.

The smell in the bathroom, mentioned in numerous other reviews, is off-putting, and could be fixed with maintenance and ventilation. We were provided with one roll of toilet paper for five people for a 12-day stay. When I enquired about getting some more, I was told that was all they provided, and anything above that would need to be purchased by us. Same for laundry detergent. If you're planning to do laundry, I'd bring a few pods from home, to save yourself having to buy a larger container, only to use just a fraction (as we did). Hopefully the next visitors are able to use it! Some key essentials in the apartment would make the stay more comfortable, like a cutting board and oven mitts in the kitchen, and somewhere to put your shower essentials. There is very little prep space, so if you're planning to make meals, keep that in mind. There's an oven and microwave, so it's easy for heating meals up, but there is very little space to actually make a proper meal. We knew the apartment was small, and we really just used it as a crash pad. For two adults and three children (15, 11 and nearly 3), it was tight, so if you're the kind of traveller that likes to spend more down time in their accommodation, for anymore than two people, this place will feel quite cramped. Our stay fell during the heat wave of summer 2025, so it was hot in the apartment. It did cool down at night, and having the windows open definitely provided a reprieve from the heat. The only challenge was having to choose between heat and noise, as the street below can be quite noisy when you have the windows open. It didn't have an overly negative impact on our stay, just sharing for awareness. Overall, the stay was adequate for what we needed.
