Location

Quite location with everything u need on site, the fish and chip van was exceptional, and all staff were very friendly. The noise from people drunk and shouting in the early hrs on last night was disappointing as I had a very long drive home the next day. Overall, hartlepool was a great base to explore the area.

We enjoyed our stay and it is a great cabin but not really meant for four adults

The second bedrooms beds were way too narrow for an adult. The second powder room was very cramped and difficult to use

The view of the sea, and the van was very clean and comfortable. The beds were warm and cosy.

The kettle! was very noisy and could only be used to make a drink in a mug from the hot tube, you could not use it to pour any boiling water from as there was no spout. The second toilet was extremely small.

Cooking trays were all rusty had to buy new so we could cook. Dusty bedrooms shower glass not cleaned still had water marks on it no toilet brush in either toilet on picture showed a bath but only a shower

Lovley stay

The communication with the owner was excellent he met us to ensure the locking master key system worked for us (I've never used it before) he was very welcoming. The caravan had a lovely wrap around balcony which would be fantastic in nice weather. The heating system and all appliances were good and easy to use, the bedding and pillows were nice quality and comfortable the kitchen was well equip. We were a family of 6 there was plenty seating ect Thanks for a lovely stay.

I have to say I'm a bit of a techno phobe and I didn't like all the on line booking system and electronic key entry but that's a personal preference

Awesome Host and Awesome Place.

Mark met me on arrival and showed me how to use the app to open the locked key box for my check-out day. Mark kept me in contact with a whatsapp messages. I am able to contact him easily anytime on whatsapp and he responds immediately. As I am not from UK, just flew in from Singapore, Mark was very patient in giving me directions to find the place and making sure that I do not get lost. The place is super clean - especially during this covid period - we had peace of mind staying here -Bedsheets, sofa and kitchen equipment (including the oven) The location is a very quiet safe location. Good for those coming for family bonding or personal quiet retreat or a work break TV channels are awesome - accessible to Netflix and Prime (good reception too) - so good for the family during this holiday season in the cold winter's night.

There's only one set of toilet rolls. Mark explained that this is meant to be like a caravan stay - somewhat like camping. Hence, they only provide the very first set. After that, anymore that we might need, we have to go and buy. As we stayed more than a 2-day stay, we had to buy it ourselves. Problem is that, at the supermarket, the toilet rolls come in large packs of about 10 rolls each - if I am a resident of UK, I can just bring home (it would not have been an issue), as a tourist, what do I do with all the extra toilet rolls when I have limited baggage space and baggage weight allowance. Do bring extra hand-towels for the toilet. Only one set of bath towels are provided. For people who stay longer, you will need to bring the towels to a laundromat for washing, or bring your own from home - there is no change of towels service provided.

Kids loved it, overal we did have a good time.

Location great, lovely to sit outside and look at the sea. Owner great, very helpful. Lovely and clean caravan, the park was very clean and amenaties, the staff in the boat house bar were really good and the lifeguards were great. The assistant in the nisa shop was lovely and the security guards were good. Mark in the arcade was lovely along with the dark haired lady, can't remember her name.

The availability of choice of food in the boat house was bad. Most of the menu was not available and my food when I could have my third choice was only just warm and not great. It is expensive food and drink. Food more like a microwave meal. The entertainment was the worst I have seen apart from one singing act, a group of three men, they were really good. They were a Franky Valli tribute act singing 50s , 60s songs. The activities were not worth the money either. I paid £15 for my kids to do archery using a set I could have bought for them myself to use for £15, so I didn't book anymore activities for them. Felt a bit ripped off. Previously I have visited many pontins, Butlins and haven sites and this was our first visit to a park dene. Its been like going from a 5 star hotel to then going to the Solana in bendorm in the bendorm TV series.

Location was perfect plenty of stuff to do for the little ones. Property was faultless.. clean...everything provided towels....utensils TV entertainment brilliant

Cannot fault anything apart from the heating it was locked at a certain time and at night it was very chilly ....but property has heater in living room heat couldn't reach bedrooms though

Clean, warm, comfortable,fully equipped caravan complete with Management, Mark, who looked after us.

Mark was so helpful and gave us his personal mobile number so that we could contact him, if need be, even on his day off. The caravan was well equipped with everything we could possibly need. It was lovely and clean and smelt fresh. The sea view was beautiful framed by the large front room window. We enjoyed sitting watching the boats moored out at sea especially when they were lit up at night. The heating was very efficient and there was a powerful shower with adjustable hot water. The camp site was very quiet and the staff were friendly. The gorgeous sandy beach with it's dunes is a very short walk from the site. We were frequent visitors to the on-site shop which stocked most basics and a few treats as well. We used the swimming pool which was fun. The club house had some good family entertainment and we used their phone app that could be used to order drinks etc. which were delivered to our table promptly. There are many places of interest close by to go and explore. We had a really nice time on our Monday to Friday break and would definitely recommend it.

The only thing that could have been better was the Weather as we had some rain and it was rather windy.

As a family we loved everything about our stay in the caravan, great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, great location well equipped, owner Mark was very helpful and was at the other end of the phone if you need anything. Would love to come back, and definitely stay here again.
