The Barn

We were greeted by the lovely owners who only live next door. The Barn was perfect for us as there were two living rooms and a bedroom downstairs. Perfectly placed for Bedale. Highly recommend.

The only problem we had was with the TV as we could only seem to get a few channels. It would also be nice to have a TV in the upstairs lounge.

The property was wonderful and we could tell it is well looked after. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Owners were courteous and friendly and let us in 45 mins early which was great. Lovely property inside. Large spacious beamed lounge with TV then another sitting room upstairs. Well stocked kitchen with a Smeg fridge. Large bedrooms. Comfy sofas. Nice furnishings. Beautiful balcony and seating area. The wisteria stunning. The owners garden next door was amazing to see from the balcony. Parking directly outside the property on the road was perfect and enough for our 2 cars. Quaint pretty quiet village.

It was expensive for one night but we did book late the day before due to a mix up at our current Lodge stay. £60 cleaning fee was charged but we were asked to strip the beds before leaving and it didn't need much cleaning after one night stay. No toiletries in bathroom. Towels provided but not luxury fluffy ones which you'd expect at over £300 for one night. En-suite room bed was very hard, which some people love.
