Slept very well. Room very clean and comfortable. Chickens around the place added bonus. Very friendly host, Sean thank you. Missed out on the bbq due to the weather but would be amazing in better weather 🙂

There wasn’t anything to dislike

We had such a lovely weekend stay for my husbands birthday! It was peaceful and a nice getaway from the city. Sean was so friendly,welcoming and readily available if you needed anything. We will definitely be back again :)

Nothing to say here, we loved it!

The lodge was very clean with a very comfortable bed you have your own gas bbq and there is a wonderful bbq hut which you can hire , the lodge is situated in a very quiet and peaceful place ideal for exploring the surrounding area.Sean our host was there to greet us when we arrived and if we had any queries he would reply to our text within a few minutes ,all in all a very relaxing stay.

My wife and I visited High Parks over the August bank holiday weekend, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Sean, who kindly showed us to our accommodation. We stayed in Owl Lodge, which is one of the three main lodges available. There is also a smaller lodge on-site that can be rented for an evening, which we decided to do on our second night. It cost £20.00 for a couple of hours and was absolutely worth it—the fire pit was fully prepped, and plates, bowls, and cutlery were all provided for us. The lodges themselves are delightfully quirky yet ooze luxury and comfort. Surrounded by beautiful fields and nature, it was the perfect setting to relax. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside first thing in the morning with a brew, and repeating the exact same relaxing process in the evening with a glass of wine. Location-wise, it is very well placed for exploring the local area. While pubs, shops, and supermarkets require a short drive, there are plenty of excellent walking trails right on your doorstep. We would highly recommend it!
