Everything was spotlessly clean with modern fixtures and fittings. Perfect location for town bars cafes and restaurants and also the beautiful surrounding countryside.
Our only comment was the lack of hanging space for clothes. Given it was only a 3 day stay we were not bothered about wardrobes but a few wall hooks in each bedroom would have helped. Spoken to the owner and they are going to arrange.

The location is fantastic. Close to everything you could need. Shops, takeaways and country walks.
The apartment is beautifully decorated and modern. The beds are super comfy. It's spacious and clean. And feels incredibly homely.
The host is very attentive and nothing felt like too much trouble. He replied immediately to any questions I had with no hesitation.
It's pets friendly, however the dogs not being allowed on the furniture was a challenge as at home they are allowed however that's the hosts choice so we respected that and took their own bed, which they were happy with.
It has all the mod cons you could need just to make the stay that little bit extra easy and comfortable.
You can't park directly on site however there is ample (free) parking nearby which the host was happy to suggest for me.
The builders play music and make general builder noise (drilling etc) from about 9am onwards, not the hosts fault as these things happen and we were up and out by 10 anyway so it didnt particularly bother us. Be mindful if you have children or pets that it is an active building site (during the day) though so lots of tools and materials left around. But they were always tidied away by the evening. And the builders are really friendly.
Just for my own piece of mind (as a solo female traveller with small, special needs children and pets) that i would have liked a second lock on the front door, maybe a chain or the ability to lock it with the key rather than a lock that easily opened from the inside. I would have felt more secure and safe with a second lock that the children couldn't access (they are escape artists).
Maybe a gate on the courtyard, just so the dogs could roam a little but again that my personal preference and not a criticism of the host or the accommodation.

The apartment is immaculate, it has everything you need and the decor is gorgeous. The location is right on the high street so everything is on your doorstep
The stairs in the review to the yard also lead up to the front door which wasn’t clear from the review. There isn’t double handrails all the way up and when they are wet (the weather was bad during our stay) they don’t feel secure walking up and down, especially if you have a dog to let out through the night. So just something to bear in mind when booking but the apartment and location make up for this small negative.

Fantastic location right in the centre of Leyburn and in close proximity of all areas to visit in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. A beautifully decorated apartment, everything was brand new with each room tastefully done.
