Fabulous apartment.

Beautiful apartment in a great location for the town centre. Very spacious, clean and well equipped. Excellent communications with Mark making our arrival faultless.

Excellent well appointed accommodation.

Wonderful spacious well maintained and beautifully appointed apartment. The Host was very easy to contact and responded quickly. An excellent location. Close to the A1 for easy travelling Richmond is a lovely market town with easy access to other interesting places to visit nearby.

The very wet weather!!! No complaints with the accommodation at all.

Great location for exploring the town, cafes and riverside walks - didn’t use the car all through the stay!

Central location within walking distance of town and countryside. Spacious open plan living/dining room and kitchen, excellent sized bedrooms.

Single glazing meant early morning traffic noise was heard. Only one bathroom wasn’t an issue for a short stay but could have been inconvenient for a longer one. Recycling instructions would have been useful. Finding a second car parking space was tricky, especially if arriving late. We recommend that if you find a space on Frenchgate you try to leave that car there and just use the one from the allocated bay on the council car park - that was really convenient, but watch your step on wet stairs from the back door.

Beautiful Apartment

The property is beautiful, very spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable. The location is perfect for local attractions and eateries. We liked that there is on site parking.

Lots of steps to get from the parking area to the apartment which is no real issue if you are fairly fit but could be a little bit of a struggle for some people.

Nice stay,property was ideal and within a 5 minute walk to the town centre,spacious apartment with all facilities you will need,would definitely stay here if in the area again.

The only thing I would do is get the carpet cleaned on the stairs up to the apartment otherwise every thing was fine.

Exactly what we needed.

Location was great, views lovely, apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. Free parking with a pass for the car park down below. Great space for a family.

As you walk in the main door, the staircase and area up to the apartment is not a great first impression. Thankfully once you open the door to the apartment it is completely different.

Excellent location, apartment spacious, light and airy. Welcome drink, tea coffee and sugar much appreciated. Within easy reach of the market square for drinks, restaurants and shops and lovely walks.

We had an excellent time in Richmond and at the property just a few tiny issues but would stay again.

Parking, Great Location, nice property and very helpful host.

Didn’t matter to us but a lot of steps and quite a dirty communal area. Some windows wouldn’t open. Very cold on arrival. Knob on bedroom door falling off, 1 radiator in large bedroom not working. Some bulbs out and no spares.

Lovely spacious apartment within walking distance of Richmond town - shops, bars and restaurants.

Flat was lovely, light and spacious and very well equipped. We had a lovely time staying there. The views from the lounge were fabulous. We will be back.

It's an old building and with the wintry conditions outside, the apartment was quite cold and despite having the heating on, it only seemed to warm up after a couple of days. Could do with a photo of the door from the road side where you access the building. It was quite hard to find.

Apartment was beautiful as were the views! Very spacious, beautifully decorated and the location was great! It was also a lovely surprise to see a bottle of cava on the table. That brand is actually one of my favourites!!! 😁

When we arrived, we parked at the rear and tried to get in through the back door with the two codes provided on the email. The handle turned but wouldn’t open and felt like there was a lock on the door. So as result, we had to carry bags and groceries from the back of the property to the front. We never did get through the back door. Not an issue but need to let you know that the some cutlery and a plate on the table setting were not clean and there were crumbs under the place mats. I just took everything off, washed the mats and table down and put the dishes in the dishwasher. Also, the window sill in the bathroom could do with a little hoover. Sorry to be picky but I am a bit of a “clean freak” so I notice things like this.

Great location close to the centre of Richmond. Large rooms and everything you could need for a good stay. Good value for money

Bathroom smelt a little foisty so had to leave window open but it was clean and modern. A lot of stairs up from car park so may not be good for those with limited mobility

Excellent, really enjoyed our stay, would love to use 3 Frenchgate many times more.

Very spacious, with a modern feel, beautiful views over the river to the countryside. Tastefully decorated throughout, very comfortable beds and lounge area, perfectly located to explore the town, and other surrounding parts of North Yorkshire.

Nothing at all really, I guess older couples may find the stairs down to the ( free ) parking area, a little steep, but we’re in our early 60s and didn’t have a problem at all.

Car parking was too small. Have a medium size SUV but looking at the size of car parking space I did not bother to attempt to park. Managed to park of Frenchgate. 1 toilet roll, no hand wash and only 2 teaspoons.

Beautiful rooms and views. comfy bed and clean facilities.

Could do with blackout curtains in bedrooms to block out light from edges of blinds and help insulate property too. Likewise some curtains or shutters for Living room kitchen would help insulate / provide privacy. Double glazing would help with insulation and reduce noise from road in bedroom. would help keep heating bills down.
