The location of the accommodation was brilliant. We were attending a wedding nearby but also had to collect from Newcastle.
The house was very spacious and homely with lots of thoughtful finishing touches - towels, soaps, washing tabs, welcome gifts etc.
The gardens were large and enclosed, with seating available. Wildlife was abundant nearby - rabbits, moles, red kites and a barn owl. Also, the train over the weekend was so cute!!
The house was warm and had plenty of hot water and space for 4 adults.
Nothing, it exceeded our expectations.

Spacious, very well equipped.
It was evident a lot of thought had gone into setting the cottage up.
Have no reason to not like anything. It ticked all our boxes and we had a very nice break.

Lovely cottage surrounded by nice views. Extremely comfortable beds and very quiet considering next to a road.
We were staying to attend a family party but being originally from Newcastle I know this cottage is perfectly located for seeing all the sights and loveliness of the North East.
If shopping is your thing the Metro Centre is 10 minutes away. A large supermarket is also 5 minutes from the cottage along with copious amounts of restaurants and takeaways.
We will definitely stay again!

Comfortable and clean property which was equipped with everything you could need. Beautiful setting that feels very rural but amenities are easily accessible. We'll definitely return!
