Good location, disappointing aspects of the home
Location
Snail tracks the carpet, hair on the floor and in the bathroom. Mould in the bathroom . Rubbish bin overflowing. We had no chance of dragging it up a step or opening the gate that was stuck

Disappointing property and no response yet to reports of issues.
The location was very convenient for our visit to Kynren, being only a mile from the site. The property was reasonably clean overall, although some details had been missed. The beds were comfortable.
Issues were reported on the first morning via the QR code app in the property, leaving my email address, but there has been no acknowledgement or reply, three days later.
Really needs to be mentioned in the description that the bathroom is at the back of the ground floor, a long way from the bedrooms.
The sitting room looks directly onto the street, and a couple of times we had passers-by shouting in through the window - some net curtains would help with this.
The handle on the inside of the bathroom door was broken, and so when my friend pushed the door closed she was unable to open it, luckily I was in the house at the time, but if I'd been out, or if she'd been a solo traveler she'd have been stuck in there, as it was impossible to turn the handle. There was peeling coating on the handles on the bathroom cabinet, and some cobwebs at the ceiling. The extractor fan in the bathroom does not seem to work, and the mirror is badly positioned, so shaving necessitates turning round constantly to get back to the sink. A small free-standing mirror on the windowsill would fix this. The shower door is badly fitted and paint is peeling from the wall by the bath.
The carpets in general are not well-fitted around the edges, and there were numerous slug trails on the living room carpet every morning. One of the steps on the stairs had a loose carpet which was something of a trip hazard.
There was no plug or bowl for the kitchen sink, so washing up had to be done in a large saucepan. Two of the saucepan lids were very dirty, and the pans were badly scratched. There is very little cupboard space in the kitchen, and the cutlery is in a drawer in the utility area, not in the kitchen.
One length of skirting board is completely rotten.
One of the bedside lights has no available socket to plug it into.
