Loved how fresh and clean it was.

We had 6 of us. It was a bit small for that - sofa bed was nice but I would recommend 2 couples or a family going.

Such a lovely Flat, really nicely decorated and clean. Just a stones throw from bar and shops. Beds very comfy. Lovely shower. Kitchen great with all the appliances we needed. Communication with owner very helpful over booking.com
There is short stay parking for 20 mins outside if you can get a space. Otherwise you need to park a few minutes walk away but no big issue.

Larger bath towels would have been welcome

This tiny house is sweet, easy to access and (nearly)everything works well. It is very cosy and the beds comfortable. Lovely to have an easy to use oven and hob! The larger of the rooms whilst charming might benefit by turning the bed round 45 degrees so you more easily get by the foot of the bed to the end of the room and some sort of light allowing blinds as the houses opposite -and the upper deck of buses -look straight in!!
The TV was impossible to use for ordinary live TV. As the property is dog friendly a dog bowl would have been much appreciated and a file of recommendations regarding dog friendly pubs and restaurants and places of interest in general. Plus a town map, bus timetables, visitors information etc Kitchen area was good but tap needs attention and a couple air tight boxes and small plastic bags would be so useful. Ice in the freezer was a real bonus!

Lovely property and short walk to the centre. Everything we needed for our weekend break. Host answered all of my questions promptly
Only issue is there is no dressing table/mirror in the bedrooms to get ready but we managed

Very clean, well equipped flat, comfortable bed & great shower in the bathroom. Excellent location 5 mins walk into the town 🤩
Front door is a bit flimsy could do with a new door fitted to make it more secure..bedroom window didn’t close properly so was a bit noisy with traffic & people going home at night (glad it wasn’t a cold night). No where close by to park our car 🙁 all the side roads were full or you had to have a permit so we parked on the long stay by the supermarket and walked up to the flat took around 10 mins.

Beautifully set up spotlessly clean, everything you need for a few days of chill out👍
Lack of parking but found a spot a little walk, but not a problem, and the odd bang and shouting (foul language)from one of the joining apartments, but overall a great stay

Think the house was in great location with park, pretty much on the doorstep, nice walks, park, along the river, stream for the dog, shops all close, Hexham is lovely town council doing great job majority of areas all maintained, only have 20min to drop kit off. However once once we understood we needed to buy parking permit for £1, we could park within short walk to the car. I would suggest you get your permit from Leisure centre when you arrive
Its downside unable to park the car outside the house nearest places are 5 to 10minute walks. Suggest you collect your car permit from Leisure centre straight away only £1. Plenty car spaces at leisure centre , I think closes area to park to the house, is at the Abbey, around the back, easy walk via the park.
The house sleeps 6, however i think that is to many as the downstairs room/kitchen is tight with only 2 chairs 1 settee for 2 a table against the wall .

Great Location, Very Clean , very comfortable beds . We were not unhappy with anything really as everything was good
The one niggle was the next door neighbour which I think was a dog groomers both mornings they hoovered around 7am and literally bashed the hoover head of the wall could also hear them talking . Not the owners fault whatsoever but not ideal if you want a wee lie in .

The location was central and close to parks, restaurants and shops. it was our first time in Hexham and we found it to be a very interesting and lovely place to visit. The Old Toy Shop accommodation was excellent.

Clean, well-equipped and tastefully decorated throughout.
The only minor issue was a lack of parking permits despite stating on the guest info at the accomm that parking permits were provided by the front door. Otherwise all excellent.
