We had a great family stay and would recommend

Everything you needed for a stay especially kitchen equipment apart from things like kitchen foil

The mattresses need replacing especially the one in the main doubles bedroom, very uncomfortable . More information about where to put your recycling. Apart from that it is an amazing property and so close to Beamish if you are visiting

It’s stunning. Exactly what we needed. Spacious and convenient. Suitable for everyone. We will be back for sure.

If I am being critical, Beds are a bit hard and TVs small and a bit old fashioned, but overall this did not impact us negatively we loved it. And would highly recommend

A warm, welcoming, cosy, fully-equipped cottage in a beautiful semi-rural location.

Beautiful comfortable cottage in county Durham about 20 mins drive from Newcastle. The cottage was warm, cosy, comfortable and the setting was in a fantastic semi-rural location with horses in the paddock and cockerels to wake us up!

Beautiful country cottage, highly recommend.

I really loved this cottage, it was beautifully decorated and had a really lovely homely feel to it. The surrounding area was peaceful, and it felt really relaxing.

I did find the mattress was a bit uncomfortable for me, but the rest of my family slept well.

Comfortable, quiet, beautiful setting

Loved the spacious kitchen and homely feel. The bird aviary in the courtyard kept our baby twins amused

There wasn’t welcome gift especially with the property being quaint it would have been a nice touch

Exceptional Cottage in stunning surroundings.

The cottage is exceptional in every way. The rooms are spacious and well furnished and equipped. The decor is beautiful and everything is of the highest quality. The surroundings are also beyond my expectations - a beautiful setting with horses, chickens, and birds. We saw a hot tub and barbecue/pizza oven area, which looked amazing. I would love to go back.

There is Internet to the cottage for the TV, but the owners do not offer WiFi. As we were visiting from abroad, the option of WiFi, even at a cost, would've been great. We were aware there was no Internet access however.

Beautiful, large, comfortable cottage.

The cottage is so big! With 5 adults staying together the cottage was big enough for us to move around comfortably. The cottage has plenty of parking. A wonderful large kitchen and dining table. The bedrooms were large and the beds very comfortable. Beautiful setting. We loved it.

There is only one bathroom/toilet.
